Yes he is 21 years older than me. But I love him every year of it! LOL. It seems as though we both are aging, I am still a little bit IMMATURE. i need marriage counseling. We have been engaged since June of 05. We got married October 15th, 2009!!! Here I am loving him more and more each day. It is hard for me to be with someone younger than me due to their immaturity. Now its me. I have a HARD time with jealousy. I Do have issues. I AM STRESSED! I love him more than ever but am afraid that my jealousy is getting in the way of our marriage and I surely don't want a DIVORCE!!!!
Please Help Me. WHAT WOULD UUUUU DO????

My husband is 11 months younger then me & there's only one month out of the year that he doesn't tease me about being older then him! LOL! I just tell him that makes me a cougar. As a matter of fact the 1st time I met him & was told he was 18 (I was almost 20) I wasn't even going to go out w/ him, that makes me laugh now. Good thing I did 'cause we've been married for 12 years & have 2 great boys!

my husband and I married when I was 18, he was 30. I had my 1st son at 19 and now Im 25 with 3 boys and he is the best dad ever. I agree with Stephanie about the maturity level, I felt like guys my age just were'nt ready for me so I had to have someone older. It worked out for the best because we've been together for 6 yrs and going strong!!! And we also go together so well he's like a best friend/big brother to me also!

yeah its definitely one less thing to have to worry about when they have all the teenage boy stuff out of their systems and are really ready not just saying they are to start a family, its definitely hard work especially with four boys and with him already having two before ours were ever thought of made me see the kind of father he really was, which made it alot easier on me knowing that he such a wonderful father i knew from their that he was the one!

I'm 26 and my husband is 36. It's really weird when we discuss our different point of views regarding teh same era, for example the 80's. While he was in high school listening to The Cure and grinding skateboards, I was in preschool watching Rainbow Bright and potty training! There is a wonderful balance though. Maybe the saying about women maturing faster then men is true... now we're on the same level.

I met my husband we I was fourteen was twenty eight we never really talked to much at first I was friends with his brother and as soon as I turned eighteen we got to talking more and decided in 2005 we were going to get married it was the best decision of my life we have been through some though times and he has always stuck by my side as couldn't be a better father to our four wonderful boys

I also met my husband when I was 18 and he was 24. I am so glad that he walked into my life boys my age I could have never married. We have been married for 19 years and have 2 great children. I would not of had it any other way. Yes there is an age difference but it never really mattered we have had such a wonderful life. He is the best.

Similar story:  I was 22 and he was 36 when we got married, with eight months of" getting to know" prior. Now also have a five month old, and very happy!!

My hubby is 15 yrs older than me, We married when I had just become 20 and he was 35. People thought the age difference would be a problem but that was their problem!
I knew I wanted to settle down and have a family but boys in their 20's etc just aren't really ready.
From the moment I met my husband I knew he was a good man, He is a wondeful husband & father, So I was obviously right!
We've been married 10 yrs now and yes we've had some tricky times but nothing we haven't got through, Just the stress of 3 little ones. I've never doubted my love & would truly be lost without him, He's not just my husband but my Best friend :o)

My hubby is 9 years older than me. I dated guys that were my age for years when I was divorced, but to this day I have said that I had to find an older man to treat me the way that he does. He is 50 and I am just about to turn 42, we have been married 7 1/2 wonderful years and to this day...he still opens car doors for me, and treats me like a queen. He gets the same treatment from me. Even though I cant because of surgery, when I can I make sure that he has a good dinner for him when he gets home from work. He does his hobbies...hunting, fishing, outdoorsy stuff and I spend time with my friends when I want to. There is no jealousy or any other childish games between us. We love each other, and we are each other's best friend. And I too Thank God everyday for him!!

My husband is almost 8 years older than me but things couldn't be better. I have always gotten along with guys older than me and even though my parents threw a fit when we got together, we went ahead and got married. Now we are proud parents of a 2 week old little girl and he has been such a huge help. I thank God every day that He put him in my life.

So now, after 5 years of marriage, we have a 13 year old, 11 year old, and a 2 year old (his one and only)...the day she was born, he picked her up and said "Come see Grandpa...I mean Dad..." My husband is 9.5 years older than me and I wouldnt change it for the world. He is a wonderful man and since I was forced to grow up at a young age it makes it easier to relate with him. We are rasing a intergrated loving family and I couldnt ask for a better man. We have been together now for 5 years married for 3 and he is the one I see myself growing old with. With me being in the military and us having a family business he is just beyond supportive and loving and caring. I dont think I can ever really express how much I love him.

My husband is almost exactly 5 1/2 years older than me and I love him with all my heart. We got together when I was 17 and he was 22. We got married when I was 18 going on 19 and have now been married for 7 years. I got pregnant with our son when we'd been married for a little over 7 months. I don't regret a moment of it. I much prefer being with an older man as they've got more experience, are much more mature and more inclined to carry on with a true relationship instead of just a wham, bam, thank you ma'am (at least from my experiences...can't speak for others.) Anyway, I consider myself one of the luckiest women on the planet to be married to such a wonderful human being and I thank God for giving him to me.

My hubby is 14yrs older than me. When we met his youngest was 12 mine 1. All together we have a blended family of 6! He is wonderful with all of the kids, and he did diapers, and vomit! We compliment eachother perfectly. I do tease when he asks do you remember and I am like yeah sure! I was 4!

My husband is 9 years older than me...I was 17 when I met him and he was 25, however he turned 26 then month after. I got pregnant abouut 6 months into our relationship, and then shortly after turned 18. We were dating for a year when we got married in Nov. 2004, and Jan. 2005 we had our first child. I definately was nervous, I know what the statistics say, however he was the best man I had ever been with. Which I was still a little nervous because of my 'young mind'. We now have 2 children, and we are going on our 5th year of marriage, have been together for 6 years. Still going strong!

I met my huband when I was 18 as well. I did not the maturity level of those guys my age either so I found one that was 9 years older than me. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy that we are together, but back when I was 18 I thought that he was just another crush! I was very young but like you I was married and had two girls by the time I was 24, wow! My girls are now 5 and 3 and I have been married for 6 years. He is my other half.
