My husband, my hero

I am a non-military pilot's wife, and though it's different, in some ways it is similar.
My husband was made for me and vice versa, & luckily God led us to each other! He is my balance in almost everything.
It can be hard, but it is so worth it, and our kids appreciate him all the more that he is gone every few days. Time with him is precious, and we all know it. Love your husband and your kids will grow up better for it! :D I wish you all well.

My husband is ARMY and is over in Afgainstan for the next year, he is as well my blessing I see the stickers all the time for 1/2 my heart is in afgainstan but my whole heart is there :) I love being his wife and find each other was truly a miracle

I am not a military wife..I just want to say your husbands are true hero's and so are you guys for supporting them.My husband always talks about joining the army and one day that would be his dream..so I can only imagine what it must be like
You are some one the strongest women( thumbs up to you gals)!

Hello Ladies!

I am a fellow Army wife who's husband is currently in Iraq. He left when I was 6 months along, managed to get leave for her birth, and left to go back when she was 7 days old. He will return when she is close to 9 months. I agree, it is VERY difficult to be a military wife but our pride runs deep, doesn't it? =)

I am a Navy wife and my husband left when I was 3months pregnant and did not come back until a month after the birth of our son. He was back for 7months and just left on Monday for a 8month deployment. We have had a very long and tough journey as well, but just like you I have an amazing husband and would not trade him for the world! It is worth waiting for him. Just remind yourself that everyday that passes is a day closer that he will be home!

Same to you! What we do as wives/mothers is a very tough job. But when we have a loving husband, everything falls into place :-) I can't even imagine only spending 3 anniversaries together, especialy since you have been married 6yrs. Congrats to you both on your soon to be baby :-) I just wish he(your husband) would be there to share that wonderful moment. I wish the best of luck for the both of you! God Bless!

That's so encouraging to hear. My husband will be leaving a month after my due date too so I will be in a very similar situation. I feel just as lucky though. Being married 6 years and having spent only 3 of our anniversaries together has been tough, but I feel it makes us treasure eachother more. I am blessed by your sacrifice as well as your husband's sacrifice. I love my husband so much and appreciate just how much he gives to us and to this country of ours too. Hey! I feel the same way about my Air Force husband! He's gone through so many hardships to get to where he is today, and he makes me proud for never giving up and always standing strong, even when things don't always seem to go well.

I understand what you are saying. I am a Marine Wife, and VERY proud of my husband. I always tell him that he is my hero. We have been married for over 4 years, and have a son, who will be 4 yrs old in October. I was 8 months pregnant when my husband had to deploy. So, he missed his birth. and their deployment got extended 2 times, so he didnt even come home until our son was 7 months old. and then he deployed again 10 mos later. It's a good feeling to have the man God blessed you with...my husband is navy and though his deployments are usually 6 months- 1 year where he is boarding and fighting pirate ships, he is my hero in every way as well, he loves our children and myself without condition..and we love him the same way for everything he does...
