I know I'm supposed to be bragging on my own WONDERFUL husband, and he is that. But I wanted to share this with you. My nephew will be 30 the end of this month. He is a former US Marine, which is how he met his little Marine wife who I love dearly. They have a beautiful 6 year old daughter. Andy is now a La. State Trooper and Crystal (his wife) re-enlisted in the National Guard to help pay for college. She has been called to duty in Iraq, she's been in New Jersey since Oct. 8 and left yesterday morning. Prayers please! She's not scheduled to be back until Oct. ' 09. His commander at the troop has allowed him to change his work schedule to Mon - Thurs days only so he can be a full time dad as well. Kaytie is his pride and joy. He is an absolutely wonderful father. He enrolled her in gymnastics, dance, and piano lessons. He does have help getting her to her classes, from me, his mom and another friend. When her lessons are over, he's there to pick her up. He takes her outside EVERY night at 8 pm to look at the moon. Crystal does the same, this way they are all looking at the same time and know that the other is as well. His first questions for Kaytie in the evening is always, how was school today, did you miss me? He misses Crystal dearly, as do we all. But he has accepted this challenge with honor. He is very proud of Crystal for serving our country and defending our freedom. He voices this constantly. This man is TRULEY a WONDERFUL HUSBAND & FATHER. Please keep them in your prayers.
