[deleted account] ( 18 moms have responded )

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Circle of Moms and would like your input with a business idea that I have,(new moms, moms to be and veteran moms):

What is the most important thing you wanted before and/or after the birth of your child ??? (i.e. sleep, a day to do nothing, foot massage, 10 mins of peace and quiet)

Your input is greatly appreciated :)

Well I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I mostly have been wanting to do the things I know will be harder after the baby comes. Like try new restaurants, spring clean, spend a day at the beach. I also really like to sleep when I can, getting up several times a night to pee sucks!

Sleep! after our son was born, more adult time with my husband, it's hard to sit and talk when our toddler is running around! Other than that, my husband and I have worked hard to make sure we get the time/things we need to stay sane.

A Healthy baby and hope to god the baby comes soon because the pain is unbearable.

After the baby is born, just a night off.

My kids are 4 & 6 now, time to myself and get back into shape.

one on one time with each of my kids and my hubby. And a family vavation. our oldest just turned 6 and the closeest we have ever come to a family vacation is traveling to see family. But then again a road trip with a hyper 6 yr. old, a 3 yr. old and a 5 month old doesn't sound very relaxing or much fun. LOL The last thing would be a mani/pedi and a 1 hour massage.

Hi! All I really want now is one-on-one time with my kids. I have 2 & they usually never have thier own time with me outside of the house.Everywhere I go, I have both with me(my husband is deployed) so I find myself wanting time with them alone. Having one-on-one time in the house is completely different than being out running errands with one kid. That's the thing with having more than one, they don't always want to share all the time. They want to be able to have their alone time with their parents every now & then...

All I have ever wanted was a family. After having my daughter I can truthfully say that I would love to be able to go and have a date night with my husband without our little girl, the only problem is when we are out all I think about is our daughter. LOL. Right now I just want my husband home, since he is over seas and I havent seen him in 6 months.

I still feel guilty when leaving the kids on the rare occasion the oldest is 9 youngest 2. But all I ever yearn for is a quiet night out with the hubby. Whenever we get time I find myself thinking this is how it will be when they are gone and then I get a little sad. Odd?

SPA!:) where I can find some peace and quiet time for myself. Not really selfish, just to re-charge! Lol I remember when my kids were 15 months and the youngest, barely a year old and I was going to school, and working full-time, I used to study in the bathroom and close the door behind me, since it's the only room I can find peace and quiet and the boys will let me have some privacy ( specially when the door's closed!). :) It was tough, but we made it through!

Hi, I'm new to circle of moms but I'd really like a date night my daughter will be one in a week and we haven't had a date night in probably a year and a half (my husband was in Iraq for a year). But some alone time would be nice if I could stand to be away from her for a while.

hahaha poor Nicole. I think having to piddle all the time while preg is Gods way of giving us practice for all the times we will have to get up in the middle of the night for the babies after they are born. LOL
