my son was born on may 16 2009 he was born on my causins birthday who died in a car accedent when he was 8 so it is a pretty specail day even tho i never met him

My husband was born on his great-grandfather's birthday.

My niece was born the day before my husband's birthday.

Our son was born the day before my mother-in-law and my sister's birthday.

My other niece was born the day after my husband's grandmother's birthday and our daughter was born the next day.

We have more match-ups with a friend's family.

Not my kids, but my brother was born on my cousins b-day, and then his daughter was born the day before his b-day, and my best friends daughter was born 6 hours before that. my Cousin was born on his grandfathers b-day. My oldest was born 2 days before christmas, and my youngest was born 5 days before her sisters b-day.

Our family really shares everything. My 4th child was born on my 4th anniversary (2nd husband) My sister's first child is on their first anniversary...my mom and her sister have the same birthday, one of my sisters and one niece, 2 brother-in-law's with 2 nephews, me and my daughter's dad same b'day, my daughter and my niece same day..there are actually very few family members with their own birthdays. In December, my cousin is on the 24th, grandpa 26th daughter and niece 27th...we all tried to get Christmas I think...

My youngest was also born on his fathers Birthday Dec 22, My mom was born on her mothers b-day and my sister was born on my mothers b-day Aug. 11, my birthday is july 27 and my due date is july 16 there might be a posibility that the baby is born on my birthday

My eldest daughter shares a birthday with her cousin (well like 3rd cousin but who cares about which one lol) the funniest part is my cousin who's daughter has the same birthday as my daughter, her and I have the same birthday... so that was kind of weird. And then my middle child was born on her great great grandmothers birthday, My youngest was born on my best friend's daughters birthday. We went into labor on the same day and had our kids 18 minutes apart

My oldest son was almost born on my moms birthday. I went in labor on July 29th which was my moms birthday. I was in labor from 9 am till 2:14am the next day. I tried to have him so my mom would have a grandchild born on her big day and that big day would continue for a very long time after. So sometimes my 11 year old son will want to celebrate his with my mom. and that just makes her big day bigger than anyones big day ever.

My oldest was due on my Grandmother's 80th birthday but came 5 days late; 2nd child was born a few days after my MIL; 3rd child was born on brother-in-law's birthday & 2 days before our 5th anniversary; 4th child was the day before an uncle & 5th child was born on another uncle's birthday! Whew....that was a lot to write! :)

Our youngest was born on his Opa's birthday. We got to choose his birthdate, as it was a planned caesarian section. Because of problems with the first birth I wasn't allowed to go to full term, and the c. section was the only option given to me.

My huband, his mother and his grandmother(moms mom) were all born on the same day, and now I am under pressure to have one on that same day... lol And my daughter and her cousin both share a bday... :D

My son was born on my birthday. Right after I gave birth all the nurses came in with a cake singing "Happy Birthday To You". I had totally forgot it was great. Our day is coming up here on 2/10 it's his 2nd B.D. I can't wait!

I agree. I wanted this day to be his own special day. not to be shared with my husbands sister. hope they never try pulling a double party on me since the age diff is so great. lil ones have parties not adults ;)

My daughter was born the day before my mother in law's birthday and now i am due close to my father in laws birthday. Oh and my MIL birthday is the same as my nephews birthday.

I can totally see why so many people think it's special to have a child born on a loved one's birthday. But I'm the opposite. I want my children's birthdays to be THEIR day. There's nothing wrong with sharing it with anyone else, but it's just not something I want. My son was almost born on my father-in-law's birthday, I could have been induced that day but we weren't able to get into the hospital that day so we went in a few days later and I like it that way. So instead of him being born on the 15th, his grandfather's birthday, he celebrates his bday on the 18th.

My only child, son Parker, was born on my oldest brother's birthday which is also my in-laws anninversary. My son, my first and only, was born on March 1, the same day as my oldest brother (my Mother's first child), obviously a boy, born within 20 minutes, and I think 2lbs (can't recall the length, but it was quite close). The only difference was the day of the week - Parker was born on a Tuesday and my brother was born on a Thursday. With each push I could see the clock and kept telling myself "He has to come before midnight, he has to come before midhight . . . "

My second pregnancy, which did not go to term, I was due within 7 days of my other brother, also my Mother's second child. Little too weird!

It is by marriage, but me and my nephew (who is now a teenager) share a birthday. I have been in the family for 6 years and we didn't even realize it until the first time my birthday came around with his family. We just celebrate together. I sometimes get something, but it has never mattered to me.... I would much rather him have something.... he is younger. Also, my oldest nephew is the 18th of january, my best friend is january 29th, my mother-in-laws is january 31st, mine/my nephews is february 1st, my sister-in-laws is february 17th. oh, and I found out I was prengant in september, which is both my parents birthdays and my son was born march 26th and my parents anniversary is april 14th.

I was due to be induced on my birthday, but the little guy was busy doing gymnastics. I came back two days later for aversion, but he had already righted himself. After 12 hours, the induction didn't take. I returned a week later on my father's birthday... this time for a scheduled c-section. Baby Lars was still showing off his spinning talent, but we managed to welcome him on his Grandpa's 58th birthday.
