What are some romantic things your husbands do for you?

I know for me we have 3 teenagers so it's very hard to try and have "ALONE' time. If I have a bad day my husband will light candles and get a bubble bath ready for me. When we do find time "ALONE" here are some things he has done: He's cooked a wonderful dinner, with candles then spent the night in front of the fireplace. Light candles, listen to some soft music and just hold each other and talk and maybe kiss LoL

We really try to have a date night every other week and do something just for us.

We always leave little notes, or cards around for each other to find. So what are some things your hubby does for you?

My husband does the washing of the dishes and cleans the guinea pigs' cage- that's enough romancing for me!

While I was pregnant, my husband and I lived in a second floor apartment and we had to park our car a ways away. I had to carry heavy bags for school. It never failed...every day he would meet me at my car to carry my stuff in for me. My school and my job required me to be on my feet for a long time, so he would rub my feet almost every night! Now that our child is here he always makes sure that I have a glass of water when I breastfeed! I feel very lucky!!!

He encourages me by standing by my side when things get too busy. He comes with me everywhere I need to go, and then when he is at home on his days off work, he cooks, and does just about everything he need to do around the house. I dont have to ask him to do much. He basically does most of it on his own. I like the steady independance he has with our daily living.

Jas does heaps of things, but things that really touch my love language include- coming up whilst im cooking dinner, give me a hug, kiss on the cheek or shoulder massage, and then offer to finish the cooking! Then he'll make me a cuppa, set the raomantic mood by lighting candles, putting on a mushy movie, or just time to chat etc etc.; but i luv his little notes!! sometimes stashed on my leftover container in the fridge to suprise me in the morning when i get up! I would luv to do date nights but without family around and Jesse only being 1, it makes it hard. So our 'date' nights are at home! but it can still work :)

all of those posts are so sweet.

My hubby will write sweet little love notes and hide them around the house. In my make-up, in my wallet, in my car, under my pillow.

Sometimes he swings by my office just to see me and tell me he misses me and loves me.

We very rarely have time away from the kids, so it is quite hard to do anything romantic. There are times when the kids are in bed and I'm in the bathtub.. when I get out and go into the bedroom, he has a room full of candles lit and give me a foot rub and back massage. He often comes home from work with flowers just because. Sometimes while we are in the mall, he will come up to me and say, go to the nail salon.. I already paid for it... and every year on our anniversary, we go eat at this Italian restaurant that we ate at after we got married. He does many things that I consider romantic...

My husband tells me everynight before we go to sleep how much he is in love with me and how happy he is. Or at random times during the day while I am cooking or cleaning he will just come in and give me a long hug and hold me and kiss me. He also does every days stuff like putting gas in my car, cleaning the house or sweeping.

My husband and i both very rarely have that "alone time" either, and with a two year old it is nearly impossible to find any time for ourselves. When we do though my husband will give me a back rub, cook me dinner, and we will just sit on the couch holding hands and munching on a bowl of popcorn. Its hard to believe that he and I havent been out for a romantic dinner alone since before our son was born, but the little romantic things he does keep it interesting. He will surprise me with flowers sometimes or buy me a sweet little present....I am hoping that once we finish with our move this week (my hubby has gotten transferred for his job and i have to have my house packed in 10 days YIKES) that when we get settled in the new place that i can find a good baby sitter so that my hubby and i can go back to being able to go out once a month.

One of the little things that I just love is that anytime my husband knows I have plans to go out and do something, he fills up the tank. Such as lastnight I went to ladies bible study... I look down at the gas light and like always, it says full. He doesnt think a lady should ever have to stand outside at a gas station and pump her own gas.

Today in church, I noticed my wedding ring was sparkling as if it were brand new. It turned out that my husband cleaned it for me while I was in the shower this morning. I think that's pretty romantic.

My hubby just finished cooking dinner, serving it to me complete with my favorite fork (cause I am just strange like that). He's also doing all the laundry and putting the kids to bed. Plus he just gave me 10 bucks to go out and buy my brother a drink for his birthday on him.

Dana,

What I call romantic is when my hubby cleans up all the nice gifts that our cats bring in for us like mice and birds and snakes he is more than happy not to make me clean them up.

In fact he just showed some of that romance this AM....

What my husband and I do for romance is once a month we spend time together in our jet tub after our son had gone to bed. He gets it all ready, and fills up the bath with bubbles and turns all the lights off and lights candles all around the area. Sometimes we have a little fun after our bath, or sometimes we dress in our warm pajamas and watch a movie.

I really thought there would be more responses.  I think it's sweet that there are still men out there that do amazing things for their wives/girlfriends.

That's so funny about the scrabble! We play it all the time and one day I come home to flowers, chocolate, and the scrabble board out. I finially had the chance to look at it after we got the kids in bed. It was all words dealing with romance and our lives! He use all the letters! This was for no reason except to tell me he loves me. He surprises me pretty randomly. Some times it's my favorite dinner, or flowers or as simple as sending me off to a relaxing bath while he plays with our boys!

My husband buys me a night away from the house once a year so that I can decompress!

My husband leaves me a note every morning before he goes to work. It is always right in front of the coffee pot, telling me how much he loves me. If for some reason he doesnt have time to write a note, he leaves me a voice mail! I have been with him for almost 7 years now and he has never missed a day yet. I even save them in my picture boxes. One time he took the letters from the scrabble game and even spelled out "I Love You". He can be and has to be pretty creative after all these years...
