Absolutely nothing from my husband... I did get beautiful homemade presents from my daughter though! (love those) As for the husband, maybe next year, right?!?

My husband planned ahead. He went to Zayle's with our 8 yr old daughter and ordered me a Mother's ring. Heart shaped with both kids' birthstones and names.
It was the best gift ever. Especially since he planned it.

My hubby is in the army, and we were actually in the process of moving that week. On Sunday we drove our 2 cars 13 hours from Florida to Oklahoma. We were so busy that we didn't even realize it was Mother's Day until his mom told us when we got to her house. So then we ran out to buy last minute cards and gifts for our moms, lol. But the next day he surprised me by getting me a full-body prenatal massage at the local spa, for which I was deeply appreciative after the long drive!

Quoting Jessica:

My husband took me out to lunch on Saturday and gave me a pair of diamond earings and then on Sunday I went to brunch with all the girls and my hubby stayed home with the baby so I could have a free day!

Also I forgot to add they were out of cards at the store so he bought a candy bar and wrote the most meaningful message on the back of the. It was the best 1st Mother's Day ever.

Well on mothers day we went to lunch him I and the kids to applebees. And cause we live like 45mins away from walmart while we were close to it we went and did a little grocery shopping which to me was fine. But the hole game plan was that I was getting to pick out new couches.. Well there was a store running a sale on a set that I really liked but we just needed to go sit on them and test them out. Granted it was sunday and they were closed, so we planned for the following day to go couch shopping for my mothers day gift, thats what I really wanted but he knew I would want to pick them out.. So keep in mind the couches I had in mind that were on sale were $649.00 for the sofa and loveseat set. So cause we knew where they were @ we thought we'd go check out other stores before making a final desision. Needless to say We went to another store that was also have a sale, and I found something that I just feel in love with, and it wasnt a couch set..... It was a kitchen table, six chairs, china buffet and hutch. the whole dinning room set we got for 2000. But he let me decide which one I wanted more the dinning set or the couches, and told me that it was my choice but we couldnt get both right now.. So we ended up getting the dinning set. He was happy with the desision and still will walk byt the table and make a comment about how nice it is to beable to put food on the table and still have room to sit and enjoy a meal.. Sorry this is so long, but how it all happened just touched me. He made me feel that he loved me and mothers day doesnt have a price tag on it, whatever makes me happy I deserve.. I love my husband.

My husband is so sweet! He actually always gives me a good and meaningful gift, this year he REALLY put thought into it. He bought a digital picture frame to give me and the day before mother's day while I was at work, he took several pictures of our son playing in his new kiddie pool (first time in it, and I had to miss it!) And "helped" him make a "Love you Mommy" drawing and took a picture of our son holding the drawing. Then he downloaded all of them into the frame so when I opened it, he plugged it in and I got to see all the pictures. It was really sweet and so special to me!

It was my first Mothers Day and we had to spend part of the day traveling but it was nice to start out the day with my side of the family. I got to see my mom on mothers day and we also got to see his mom that day. I had a card from him, and then a card from our daughter as well. They gave me a small digital picture frame that is only about 3.5 X 5 but it's perfect b/c it comes with a little carrying case. It's a digital brag book for me. I wanted a digital picture frame and this was perfect. I had a great Mothers Day and look forward to a lifetime more of them.

This year he got me a pair of gold and silver heart earrings that intertwined together. Last year he got me a gold rose, and the year before that he got me a silver and gold heart anklet. And every year he gets me my candy bar and takes me out. He always gets yelled at when he buys me jewelry so I don't know why he does honestly. According to him I deserve it for all that I do. LOL

My husband isn't the romantic type to buy gifts but, I did like what we went to mandarin because he knew how much I love chinese cuisine. And we took loads of pictures. In my eyes that was romantic to me eventough he couldnt admit it was.

This was my FIRST Mother's Day, and it was GREAT. My hunny got up when the baby woke up and soon after I went into her room and there she was in her bed holding a ring box. He had gotten me a Mother's ring with her name, birth date and birth stone, it is beautiful. And roses, big bright wonderful pinkish orange roses. We got up went to church and our daughter, Payden got debticated.

Hi, new here. My husband and I have been married for 2 yrs, known each other for 30 yrs. He knew I've always wanted my kids' "hospital footprints" tattooed on the tops of my feet, so he did it for me for Mother's Day. I also got some pink and purple golf balls. Then I got to spend time with the kiddos! It was a wonderful day! Our kids are the best!

My husband took me to the Saturday Market and let me buy this and thats without blinking an eye. While we were there, without my knowing, he bought me a beautiful sterling silver necklace with our daughters birthstone in the middle,(opal), and a silver baby ring for our daughter. I got them on Sunday when I woke up. They are so special to me. I love him!

To start the day off my husband let me stay in bed while he got up with the boys. I got to relax...aww what a feeling. Then my boys came up in my room and gave me the gifts they made at school. Those are the gifts I cherish the most. Then my husband gave me a bouquet of flowers, a coupon booket he made himself, and the boys gave me a gift card to shop at the mall and a necklace with a Mom pendant on it. My husband and boys are so sweet. Gotta love them! Then in the afternoon we went to my sons basketball game and then to my nephews First Communion. So the afternoon was busy.

Well, my husband travels and he got home about 10 am that day. He knows my favorite meal of the day is breakfast so he made me french toast with homemade cinnamon syrup and coffee and (milk) to drink for the sweet toast...lol. I also got flowers. I was shocked about the flowers...he never brings flowers. He stopped doing that after we got married 25 years ago! Anyway...I'm thankful he did what he did, it was wonderful he was home and I got to spend time with him since both of my grown kids were working.

Don't let their looks fool you! Together they are a toddler wrecking crew.

Anyway, my Mother's Day was nice. We went to church (one of my sons drew on my purse), and then out to dinner (the other one got crab sauce on my dress) and then over to my mom's house for dessert. Then, my husband gave me his version of dessert when we got home and the boys finally fell asleep :)

I ended up getting a few cards, jewlery, and a plant besides.

Not too shabby...

LOL.... My husband is horrible at gifts and planning things to do! On Mothers day he ran out to the store an hour before we were supposed to meet my Mom for lunch to buy me a gift I got a nice birdfeeder (my 6yr old pick out) and some birdseed to put in it.. Oh this was a great gift last year I got a snickers candy bar (and I don't like snickers..lol) But I love my husband and we had a good day anyway and I know he's horrible at this stuff (not just mother's day but my birthday and christmas too), but maybe thats why god blessed me with 3 daughters LOL

Hilarious Tanya!

I love that snickers story. My husband loves to buy me food that we can "share". How thoughtful (lol)!

My husband conspired with our two boys and bought me a bouquet of flowers and Mother's Day cards! Then, they took me out for a drive to the park for a picnic lunch with our dogs! We ended up spending a nice day at the park. Nothing fancy, but the thought of being away the chores and cooking for a change was wonderful! LOL

My husband knows how much I love Michael Kors so he bought me a sweater! He hid it in my car. Saturday night he made me go to bed and snuck it all in so I would wake up to my gifts. He also bought me a bottle dryer and flowers and a special bib for our little one. I LOVE the botte dryer, he knows me quite well!! The funny thing is he was not very sneaky about it. That made it so much better, he's adorable!
