What to get my husband from my Daughter

What we ended up doing last christmas was go to the personalizationmall.com and did a key chain w/ Caroline and my photo on one side and on the other we put Daddy: Now you can take us where ever you go! Love, Caroline. He loved it and put it on his keys and always shows it off! (it was like $10 bucks!) These Ideas will be used you sent though! Christmas is right around the corner!

I got a clear mantle decoration from halmark that had a poem that started "For you dad" and taped a picture if my daughter on the back to show through with the poem. My husband loved it and showed more emotion than I though he ever would =)

My husband works out of town sometimes. so what I did was vidoe tape them together doing thing.{ playing, dancing, even eating dinner} I loaded it onto my computer and made a cute dvd with butterfly kisses playing in the background. He bringsit with him

.when he goes out of town. I don't know if he watches it but it makes my 4 yr old and myself happy.

You could take some of his favorite pics of him and her and get them framed (or you could do it yourself, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and even Walmart have some really nice frames and matting) and give them to him. Or have one blown up to an 8x10 or bigger and put her hand prints at the bottom of it. :o)

If you like things like cross stitching you could frame his favorite quote or pick one just for him. I did this for my husband's first father's day. There was a quote that I always said to him for encouragement so I cross stitched it and put from our child and the date so he would always know when he received it.

I bought a plain white t-shirt and fabric paint. I painted my daughters hands and pressed them on the shirt and painted the message: " Daddy I love you this much" another one with her footprints read" My daughter walks all over me". My husband loves to wear them and show them off.

Now i did this for my husband for his birthday, my daughter was on 1 1/2 months old at the time. My husband would get early with her and do her morning feed, this was around 5:30-6 a.m. So I gave him a nice card from our daughter with a message about how much she enjoyed the morning with just her and daddy and then gave a present of 2 bags a really, really good coffee beans. (My husband loves coffee !!) When my husband read the card he had tears in his eyes. So anyway even though your husband works long shifts is there anything that he does with Caroline, maybe the present could be related to that.

A cute idea I have thought of was to make a tie tack using a penny from the year your daughter was born. You can get the hardware at a hobbly lobby. Using some wood glue glue the penny on allow to dry and you have a creative present that will remind your husband of your daughter. ;o)
