We eloped on Christmas Eve in 2001 so we never did have a song. We, however, plan to renew our vows for our 10 year anniversary and are looking for that perfect song. Thank you for the questions with all these great responses...it really helps!

for our wedding on 11 April 1998 we had an Irish folk love song, sung by a friend. but what we now call our song is one we heard on the plane when flying to honeymoon that stuck ever since -- the beatles 'when i'm 64'.

When I get older losing my hair,

Many years from now.

Will you still be sending me a Valentine.

Birthday greetings bottle of wine.

If I'd been out till quarter to three.

Would you lock the door.

Will you still need me, will you still feed me,

When i'm sixty-four.

You'll be older too,

And if I say the word,

I could stay with you.

I could be handy, mending a fuse

When your lights ha ve gone.

You can knit a sweater by the fireside

Sunday morning go for a ride,

Doing the garden, digging the weeds,

Who could ask for more.

Will you still need me, will you still feed me

When I'm sixty-four.

Every summer we can rent a cottage,

In the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear

We shall scrimp and save

Grandchildren on your knee

Vera Chuck&Dave

Send me a postcard, drop me a line,

Stating point of view

Indicate precisely what you mean to say

Your's sincerely wasting away

Give me your answer, fill in a form

Mine for evermore

Will you still need me, will you still feed me

When I'm sixty-four

... and my husband and i still sing it to each other from time to time. i also have some silly love songs i made up for him when we first started seeing each other and i still sing them to from time to time. but he gets very embarrassed if i tell the words to anyone else (he's kind of a shy guy, nothing really blush worthy in the song).

June 18, 2005 ~ You & Me by Lifehouse

I have that as my husbands ringtone so when he calls me, it's our wedding song that plays and I know it's him because he's the only one that has that for his ringtone!!!!

Our wedding song had to be from my favorite band, Areosmith I Don't Want to Miss A Thing. I always loved that song. When ever I hear it I think of my hubby and when we were younger:)

My husband and I have decided we'll do a new song for every 10 years of our life together. The first ten years was Aerosmith's Angel; the current song is Pete Townsend's Let My Love Open the Door.

Married Nov 12, 2004. I walked down the aisle to a song fron Children of Dune "Inama Nushif"; Our first dance was Aerosmith's Angel, and our last dance was Jack Black's version of Let's Get it On. :P

June 18, 1999 - The song was "How did you get here?" by Deborah Cox. Even though the song is talking about god, I had a different meaning in my mind. Nine months prior to meeting my husband, I just got out of a bad relationship and said that I would take two years to get myself together and than think about someone new. Then my husband came into my life to make a long story short.

This is funny because we each had a song, his was Shania Twain's --From this Moment and he surprised me because he had my childhood best friend and her husband sing it to us at our wedding ceremony!! Beautiful touch. My song was George Strait's-- I Cross My Heart. So we danced to both :)

My husband and I got married at the courthouse. Small and private. But we are going to renew our vows soon with a bigger wedding.

Our song has always been Faithfully by Journey. When we remarried in 2007, we danced to Celine Dion's song The Power of Love. Our wedding was very unique compared to many. I didn't walk down the isle to traditional music. We found a song by Joe Satriani (guitarist) that we both loved and so this is what I used for my wedding march. :)

June 12, 2005 -- I Could Not Ask For More, by Edwin McCain. Our last dance was Beyond The Sea, by Robbie Williams. That's from Finding Nemo - we loved that movie and would dance to that song at the end of it, so we thought it would be appropriate for our Goodbye Dance, especially since the lyrics at the end of the song say Goodbye & Farewell. We tend to think of that one as our "real" song.

June 24,2006-Inside your heaven by Carrie Underwood (the one she sang on American Idol) is what we danced to at our wedding but our song as relationships is crazy but "Broken" by Seether and Amy Lee. We loved Punisher and he is a huge fan of Seether and I like Amy Lee so it just stuck.

we only did a JOP at the courthouse, so no wedding, reception, etc.

[it was just us & the judge, since our families all lived 14+ hours away.]

our song as a couple is 'cross my heart' by george strait.

"From This Moment"...Shania Twain. It still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, remembering how in love and how blessed I am to have such a wonderful husband. Going on 10 years now! :)
