i have the same thing...sometimes my headache would last for seven days straight....i actually had low blood pressure (not sure if that was the reason though) ...i dont get them really now...but ive noticed if i drink a lot of water when i start to feel the thumping in my head...it goes away. i had the headache that bad it made me throw up...i was very cranky all the time too because of it. i just thought that it was bodies way of saying...your pregnant and you need more water :)

Yep! I had headaches that wouldn't go away with tylenol and they sucked! Make sure you stay well hydrated adn get as much rest as you can to make sure it's not dehydration or sleep deprivation. If it's interfering with your rest and tylenol isn't working I would talk to your doctor. also I've heard that warm baths help.

Hi! I have experienced this with my current pregnany. Make sure that you keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Remember, you're also drinking for two:) Mention this to your doctor if you haven't already, especially if you have been having high blood pressure.
Good luck!

I've had the same thing happen to me, I started seeing a Chiropractor every week since week 9, and it's made a HUGE difference. If I skip a week I can defiantly tell! Chiropractics is perfectly safe during pregnancy, and it's all natural so you don't need to "take" anything.

I had terrible headaches with my first pregnancy and in the first few weeks of my second. I swear by tiger balm which has things like camphor and cinammon in it. It is a bit smelly (although I think it's really quite pleasant) and quite warm so don't put too much on otherwise your eyes water. A less smelly but also less effective one is Forehead. Beats taking too much paracetamol which I don't find very good anyway. Best of luck!

Ask your Dr. about Magnesium for headaches. Mine suggested it and it works wonders. It also helps with slight insomnia and fetal development. Give it a try! It takes a little while to get in your system so give it time. I just take 3 OTC magnesium pills in the morning.

uh oh thats awful...are u working?? in front of the comp or driving?

i have two babies and i had very mild headaches for the first one...but drinking water helpped and for the stiff necks because of the microscope pranayam helpped...i'll describe this to u but please dont try any other yogas!...sit in the vajraasan position that is...kneel down and sit on ur legs with ur buttock placed between the heels of ur feet, place ur palms on ur shoulder/back while keeping both ur elbows pointed to the sky...and deep breathe in and out like u would when snoring without the noise...ull feel as though u r breathing thru the back of ur nose/throat. but just 6-8 times...not more at each sitting. do this when ur just feeling the headache is going to come. hope it helps and u feel better...wish u a happy pregnancy and ver happy motherhood

I had awful headaches while pregnant with 2 out of 3 of my children. You can try putting heat on your neck & a cold cloth over your eyes. It's the hormone changes. Mine got so bad that my doctor put me on baby safe prescription meds. Mine were like migraines, they were like you are describing, they went on for days & days.
