my daughter is 14 months old and i am 8 weeks pregnant. im really excited however my mother in law is more worried about our money situation than being happy for us which really upset me anyway just letting you know my experience and good luck

congrats! I know its a little scary but just think its soo worth it! I found out i was pregnant with my first when i was 20 and it was sooo scary lol I expected for my family to be mad but they were all so happy! im now 22 and newly married also im 8 weeks pregnant with my second! my daughter is 13 1/2 months now so my kids will be 21 months apart. I would just tell them straight up, be prepared for some people to judge you or tell you your stupid but just tell those people that they don't have to live your life so not to worry themselves about it. And if you think about it it's not really a that smaller age gap between your kids, if your first is already 15 months old then he will be nearly 2 by the time this one is born which isn't that bad at all so I wouldn't stress about it, my kids are only going to be two and a half years apart by the time I have this one and I'm not to stressed about it, it will all work out for you so don't worry to much and don't worry at all about what other people say to you. I have a friend who found out at her 6 week check up that she was 4 weeks pregnant lol, her kids are 10 months apart lol, now thats crazy :)

It can be hard. Congratulations though on the little one on the way! We have a 6 year old daughter, a 4 year old son, a 4 month old son, and we found on Thanksgiving night that we are expecting TWINS August 2011. It is definitely hard to tell everyone that you are pregnant again! My 4 month old & my twins will be only 10 months apart! Talk about a handful! Just tell them one at a time...let everyone react in their own way...that's what we did. We told everyone 1 at a time...made sure they had time to take it all in...everything turned out fine :) My family is just as excited as we are! First congratulations, I hope this is a happy time for you both, I have 3 babies, Ethan is 3yrs, Marcus is 21months and Emily is 6months, Having your babies close in age is good all 3 of my babies get along so well, I am hoping to have another baby in the near future, I would just tell your family be happy about it and hopefully they will be happy for you too, Good Luck :)
