i have had more bracten hicks with later pregnancies and alot more pressure pains to i would also tell your doctor to be on the safe side i had these problems with my eighth pregnancy and almost delivered him 11 weeks early thank god they stopped it i don't want to alarm you but it is best to safe than sorry i think good luck with bubs after 11 years i think it is more of a shock i had my 3rd and 4th at 8 years apart i forgot about how sleep deprived you get and how badmorning sickness or in my case all day sickness but it's worth it

Hi Patricia, did you have more/earlier brackston hicks with you last few pregnancies?? I am pregnant with number 5, I have 1b born 1995, 1b born 1997, 1g born 1999, and 1b born 2000. Now I am due with number 5 in november and I am already having brackston hicks contractions, and also my stomache muscles get sore easily, for example, when I sneeze or get up too quick. I guess my body was not ready for another child after almost 11 years??

sorry it has been so long since i started the grand multiple thing that i have lost track of all the risks i hope you have a large family i wouldn't swap it at times it is a lot of work and effort since i do nearly all of it myself i look at each child as a blessing and a gift i would have a dozen if i could but i bleed quite alot after my son and did not plan our wonderful surprise but for the kids i have now this has to be be the last one because if you bleed to badly and they can't stop it you will bleed out and die i want to look after and enjoy the ones i have and iam having ask your doctor and good luck with your lovely family

they call it a grand multiple if yoou have a few kids age and bleeding are a big risk i have to have what is called an active labour the break my water and then stick me on a drip with sintozin and the increase it as fast as medically allowed it is alot more painful then going into labour on your own tey literally have to force your body into labour look after your self and get hubby to help you out as often and as much as he can my doesn;t he;s a pain make sure you attend all your appointments my 6th was harder than my 7th and my 8th was harder than my 9th alot of presuure pain back pain and discomfort try to keep active before the birth and during if possible i will let ypou know more on the risk=s later

Patricia Coffee i was just wondering does it get harder and harder to carry each child? We want a big family and so far have three under three. Are there any health risks? xxx

Hi there! Yes I am in a similar situation. I have 3 year old boy/girl twins and a two year old boy and I am 9 weeks pregnant. It's going to be a busy year indeed! The kids are 21 months apart and as you know it is quite busy! So so much fun though and they are all fast friends. Sharing is learned early on for sure and we have our share of squabbles but all in all they love one another so much! Hang in there and if you ever need some moral support. I'm here : ) Sherry Akuta from London Ontario Canada

not me, but a close friend of mine just gave birth to her third child in under 4 years. She had her son, and accidentally conceived 4 months later, and had her daughter and conceived again 8 months later. She just gave birth this past weekend to their second son. I'm happy for her but I can't imagine the toll it take on the body. I'm having enough trouble with one toddler and a baby due next month.

3 I think I'd go crazy. I only have 2 hands. lol 2 under 2 is a 'blanket' term for me. I was on a group w/ Mom's who had a 23 mos old & newborn. I had a 12 1/2 mos, didn't walk fulltime until he was 17 mos, & a newborn, during a terrible winter in Ohio. To me, it's just different. No disrespect at all, just since mine are so close, anything over 14ish mos to ME, is not close. Again, to ME.

3 under 3 or 4 under 4? I barely survived 2 w/in 12 1/2 mos. lol

lol Well, I got preggo having sex ONCE w/ my DD (so, I know the exact night she was conceived) when my 1st, DS, was 4 1/2 mos old. My kids were both due, ironically on 9/30. DS 9/30/03, & DD 9/30/04. I was older, 28 & 29, & I got 'fixed' after DD. lol We got preggo w/ DS the 1st mos we tried, so, apparently, I/we am/are fertile. lol I made sure there were no more 'surprises'. =) I adore & love having my kids so close, but, I am stopping at 2. =) I do have a friend who had 4 under 4 for a while. She had twins the 3rd time around. =) Good luck! Just know you CAN do this!!!! Get out & get support when you can. I made a point to go to lunch out or even just grocery shop w/ the kids just to get out. =) & prove I could. =)

Get ready for some fun lol! I have a 1, 2, 3, and 9 year old. It is extremely difficult but what I have learned is to take time for myself. It doesn't happen often but when the opportunity presents itself I'm all over it. If people offe to help say yes. It has gotten easier over time. Best of luck.

not quite, but similar. I have a 2 yr old, a 10 1/2 month old and am 2 months pregnant with my 3rd. It is due in early Nov and my oldest won't turn 3 until Jan. So, I understand a little about how much fun you'll have! I hope it all goes well! Good luck!
