o yea its normal to have pelvic pain at 34 weeks pregnant! i had the pelvis clicking constantly every time i tried rolling over in bed it was awful and lasted a few days after giving birth too. as long as your not having any bleeding it is just normal pregnancy pains as baby is getting ready to move his /hers way down to prepare for birth :)

there is a big head down there stretching out the ligaments and hitting on bones.

It depends on how bad and if you're also having like abdominal cramping or bleeding. I also have been having pelvic pain and pressure at 30 weeks. I've talked to a few other moms who have had the same thing. Might not hurt to bring it up to the dr. to see if there's any stretches or anything you can do. One thing that helped me was to sleep on a firmer bed and with a pillow between my knees.

Definitely talk to your doctor about being 34 weeks pregnant with pelvic pain but it could be either the baby just pushing down or pubic symphisis. I have SEVERE pubic symphisis and, while it's normal and doesn't hurt the baby, it can be painful, etc.

Well... keep in mind that your body is getting ready for actually bringing the baby into the world.... ligaments are loosening, and all that fun stuff.  It hurts.  Are you on your feet a lot during the day?  That can aggravate back issues -- it does for me!  It could definitely be normal to be 34 weeks pregnant with pelvic pain, but I would talk to your doctor the next time you go in, or call if it gets really bad.  But Leron is right -- there might be some stretches or minor lifestyle adjustments that you can make to help.

im 30 weeks pregnant with my second and have had stomach cramps through most of my pregnancy (from about 3months) slowly getting worse throughout. i also get extreme pain in my groin and hips and get very stiff. my doctors has said this is normal and just to rest more. i didn't get any pain or pressure with my first baby and ended up having an emergancy c section as my body wasn't ready for the baby. if the pain gets too bad or you begin to bleed seek medical advice but i wouldn't worry otherwise about being 34 weeks pregnant with pelvic pain, just take it easy.

OH YES, IT'S NORMAL TO BE 34 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH PELVIC PAIN! I am 31 weeks and have been having this pain and pressure for 2 weeks. Sometimes I can hardly walk! My OB says as long as there is no cramping or bleeding, it's just fine (besides the ow factor!) My doctor prescribed hydrotherapy (exercises in the pool) for me and it's wonderful for taking the weight off the joints!

Thank you all.. No i do not stand alot.. I am a stay at home mommy.. I will def talk to my doctor on wednesday..

i had pelvic pain last pregnancy, particularly at the front. i saw a physiotherapist who recommended maintaining symmetrical positions as much as possible (ie. if you're standing up for a long time, keep your weight evenly distributed instead of leaning on one foot more than the other, and don't sit in uneven positions).

if it gets really bad there are special belts you can wear to help keep everything aligned that help a lot and are pretty comfortable, particularly on days where you're going to be standing a lot.

hope this helps!
