Anyone have a late 1st prenatal visit?

I just found out I was pregnate with my 4th child, and I am already 5mos along!! My last child was born July last year and I was having weird cycles with bfing, so I didnt know untill the hormones started making me emotional! Did anyone else go through this, and how did everything turn out? I'm 30 yrs old and healthy but I've always been to the dr right away with all my other kids... I'm worring myself crazy about this! Thanks for your help!

Thats what I keep telling myself!! I know about warning signs and when to call the doctor and nothing like that has happened, I guess I just wanted to hear it from someone else! Thanks!

With my my first I didn't go to the Dr until I was almost 4 months. It caused no problems at all. With my second, I went at around 6 weeks, just because I was so nauseatedI couldn't eat anything, but I didnt allow them to anything because I just felt too miserable! I didn't start my normal pregnancy care until I was about 3 months. My mom didn't have insurance when she got pregnant with my little brother (her 4th baby) and she didn't go to the Dr until she was 8 months along. It was funny because she called to make the appt and the nurse insisted she come in for a pregnancy test! Mom tried explaining to her, but she kept insisting so finally mom went to the appt. She walked in with her huge belly and told the lady, "well i'm here for the pregnancy test you insisted on." The lady just sat there with her jaw hanging open! LOL As long as you've had healthy pregnancies before I don't think it's a big deal. Look at how many people these days are going all natural and not even attending a Dr during pregnancy! :) They don't do much testing that early on in pregnancy anyway!
