Hi! I am 30 weeks pregnant and so far my baby is breach. His little head is right under my rib- ouch! Anyway I am not comfortable with the idea of a person manually moving my baby. Any suggestions on how to make this happen naturally. There is still time left and I am hopeful that he will move before things get really cramped in there.

Oh, you've got plenty of time! Most times, the baby will turn on his/her own when they're ready...

At 34 weeks my baby was head down and then turned breach. Luckily he did turn on his own, but I did some things at home to help him. Here is a great website about turning your own baby...spinningbabies.com. Also, if you can get into a swimming pool sometimes that will help them to turn, or manipulating them yourself, which is what seemed to work for me. Find the but and head and put one hand on each and try and coax the baby to turn by literally turning your tummy. Hand on the head goes one way, hand on the bottom goes the other. Good luck, hope you get your little one flipped!

I am 29 weeks a breech also. My OB said thae 90% turn on their own so not to worry! I hope it all works out for you!

He could still turn yet. You've got plenty of time for him to flip around on you. They can do amazing things even in those small confines....
Even if the baby is head down at 30 weeks, there is still the possiblility of breech after that. My husband was 9 months along and flipped completely after being head down for the last ten weeks.

I was 36 weeks and my baby was breech. Don't give up hope that it will turn on it's own because I had an appointment for manipulation and didn't need it!!When I went in they did an ultasound descovered the baby had turned week 37!! I had a nice bath 2 days in a row and sat with my feet up and relaxed afterward and I'm sure I know right when it was turning. Holy tummy gymnastics!! I ended up 11 days overdue and had a 9 pound 5 ounce boy on Jan. 30th!! Good luck!!
