Anyone have advice for childproofing? OUr son is pulling drawers out of dressers and it's very dangerous. I don't know which drawer locks are the best. Also we are moving into a home with stairs and I don't know which gate is the best for on stairs. Our bedrooms will be upstairs. I have always scoffed at babyproofing but I'm realizing just how important it is. Any other advice would be great!

I suggest stove knob covers for sure so you can avoid CO2 posioning, electrical outlet covers (they seem to love them???), and of course a gate or two to avoid areas you don't want them in. We got a Safety 1st gate (actually two) and they seem to work pretty well. We do not have stairs, but we also didn't want one that had to be mounted to the wall. I can't help you with the drawer thing. It's just something mine does sometimes, but she is pretty good about not getting her fingers in the way. As far as cabinet locks, they have them, but make sure your toddler doesn't see you put them on. They tend to figure them out quicker than you can get the screw in and the whole thing assembled. I wish I could be of more help. My daughter is 20 months now, with #2 due in 8 weeks and she seems to be doing better slowly as time goes on so I would do what you have to and eventually it will get better. Then they will just get into bigger and better messes and trouble. =) Good Luck!
