Cloth diapers don't stink- they just don't have the chemicals to 'mask' the smell of poop & pee. When properly laundered with a cloth diaper friendly detergent, they are only 1 extra wash every couple of days, depending on the size of you 'stash'.
Disposable diapers, even with coupons, average cost is about $1000 a year. Cloth diapers are an initial investment that at most- all organic, top of the line, large stash would run no more than $700. And if properly cared for can last thru more than one child!
I don't see how it's any cheaper. You buy they once and you don't have to worry about running out.

NO! They stink, are to much trouble for you, and dont save but about $75 a year. You have to pay more in elec. and water, and detergant. Pamper and huggies both have a thing where you can sign up for coupons adn you can save any where from $5-$12 on a pack of diapers.

Hey Becky, I've cloth diapered my 2nd baby since birth and let me tell you, they hold runny breastfed baby poop WAY better than any disposable- even when my now-toddler had a stomach virus and horrendous diarrhea.
There are alot of different choices when it comes to cloth diapering. If your cousin is 'converting' them for you, I'm guess she might know a thing or 2 about it.

See if this link works. IT's a good starting point. It's one of the gals on the 'Cloth Diapered Munchkin' communities on here and she's got alot of good info.

look into a diaper service in your area sometime that can get expensive but then you dont have to wash them at home. you get you deliver and pick up the dirty ones on the same day of they week.
