I am 38 wks and we have gotten a Sit and Stand which our 2.5yr old loves. He can get on and off when he wants and he can sit and be strapped in so he can not get off. It is great. Even though we have not had the new baby yet we have already used it when we took him to the park.

I'm in a similar situation (19 months apart) and after much research I'm buying the City Jogger - City Mini Double Stroller. It's something I can use to exercise with, lightweight enough for me to load up myself and fits through doorways. Best of luck - it's not a an easy choice.

I love my baby trend sit and stand XL it can hold two baby carriers, or two toddlers or one todler and one older child. It's the kind you can really grow with..... do not buy a joovey caboose, they do not glide as well and it's like you are pushing a rock!
DO NOT BUY A VIBE!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the phil and teds range and now have a sport that i'm very happy with but the vibe cost me $1100 all up with all the accessories and it was terrible to drive. i ended up selling it and loosing $400 in 2 months. Baby bunting won't even stock this pram anymore due to its dodgy steering. The sport and the dash are great . my 2 are 19 months apart. i have the skateboard for my single pram but find he hops on and off all the time and it takes ages to get anywhere plus at 19 month he was no where near big enough to use it.

We use the Sit and Stand Deluxe. Our kids are 18 1/2 months apart. We used our Graco Snugride carseat with this stroller and it worked fine. It's big -afterall, it's a double stroller. But, it is totally manageable. I liked this better than a side-by-side stroller. Those take up way too much real estate when you're out and about! This stroller can be converted to a single stroller with a platform for an older child to stand on with a "jump seat" available, should they want to sit down. I think it's perfect for a growing family.
I think the Bob double stroller is great. It turns really easy and you can use it anywhere including when you run. You can place one infant car seat on it and your oldest can sit in the other side. It fits through all standard doors. Both seats have separate reclining backs so that one child can recline and sleep and the other can sit up when they are older. I wouldn't trade ours for anything. We had the single with our first child and now with our twins we are using the double.
I have the Sit and Stand Plus, and I LOVE it. A lot of other strollers were too wide, or too heavy, but this one is perfect, and really easy to break down. Almost any car seat can fit into the front attachment, which you can change later to a tray for the smaller child. I, like another lady on here, use public transportation and its one of the few doubles that can get on the bus and other modes of public transportation without having to be broken down, and STILL leave ample space for other passengers to get by.
Its long, but easy to maneuver, and definitely manageable. Its also got lots of storage space underneath, and can fit 3, sometimes 4 grocery bags, depending on whats in there. I definitely recommend this stroller.

I have the sit and stand and love it! My older one was 3 when we had a second baby so it works great for us still. The back seat for the older kid is safe and functional, but it is not comfortable, if you want your older one to be able to "nap" or relax in the stroller, this is not the right fit for you

my son was 16 months old when my baby was born. i have the kolcraft options tandem stroller. it is awesome. it is pretty big but gets around really good i take it to the mall by myself and rarely have troubles. it is great beacuse you can move the seats in whatever direction you want them and have the carseat in which ever seat you want. usually i put my younger one in the front in the carseat facing me. and then my other son in the seat closest to me either facing me or facing the baby. i love the stroller

I have the same problem. My husband and i have been looking for a tandem stroller and compared many in size and found that either the Graco brand strollers or the sit and stand strollers are the smallest in length and width (the sit and stand stollers take a wide variety of car seats). We don't drive, so we mainly take the bus as our transportation so compactness is what we are looking for as well as being able to lift it.

Hi, Im due in May and going to have 13mth between my babies, im currently looking for a right stroller too and have no idea, there are so many out there! i have been told the tandems are hard to get around but then the twins are so wide?? Also need one with car seat, do i need to buy them seperatly or is there any places that sell the package so to speak?

I have the sit and stand, and it is nice, but hard to get through doors because it is so long. Usually I have my older one walk and use the regular stroller, or wear the baby and put the older one in the stroller - it is a lot easier!

I almost bought the Phil & Ted's with my first in anticipation for a second but thought it might be too low to the ground for the little one. I have the Valco and you can add the seat in front for my older son (it sits higher and can be removed) Mine are going to be 22 months apart. I think I'm going to look at the Peg Perego side by side where the car seat can be used on one side for the newborn. I loved the ease of use and flexibility of my Peg Perego Pliko P3 for shopping etc, and this one is the double version of it.
Strollers are a hard decision because there are so many options out there!
