you could fill the sink with bubbles and have her "help" you was some dishes or toys....you could fill the bathtub and let her play in there for a while....you could pull out some crayons or markers and let her colour....you could get some blocks and build towers together....you could get some empty pop bottles and a indoor safe ball and play bowling together...you could have her help you bake something...you could use blankets/pillows/couch cushions to build a fort

I have a 19 month old daughter is the same way she is always on the go and never sits down for a second, its fun but I am 19 weeks pregnant and trying to give her all of my time before the baby arrives anyways I usually play with her ball with her toys I even try reading books with her. We listen to music and make up our own dance moves I even let her help with the shopping, sit down a try a kid puzzle board or get out cryarons and draw with her I know my daughter loves to draw and we have some of her art work hanging on our frige well I hope this helps.. Good Luck

I have an 18 month old son so I know how you feel lol He's half and half though, sometimes he's really chill and will just relax and watch cartoons with his sister or play with toys, other times he wants me to entertain him. I like just getting on the floor with him. He loves when I'm on his level, he'll just laugh and climb all over me lol I'll lay on my back with him balanced on the bottom of my feet and holding his hands and "fly" him back and forth, shrieks his head off lol Tickles of course are always a hit haha I throw him in the air, hold him and spin in circles...just a bunch of crazy stuff like that! After letting him get the brunt of his energy out through laughing and fast action, he'll be content to just push his trucks around and explore again. :)

Blocks, bang pots and pans, make cookies, go outside in the rain with rain gear (jump in puddles if it's not lightening), read books, watch a show, have her help clean- like vacuum, dust, etc., crinkle paper, jump on pillows, have a dance party!

At 18 months they are very sensory oriented. Draw a treasure map that has basic items such as the couch or a favorite toy. Have your daughter hunt for clues to find a treasure such as a new toy or plastic jewelry. You can set this up while she is napping or as you play. Another idea is to use food in your house. Pudding, although a little messy makes great and tasty finger paint. Clear off a spot on your table strip her down to a diaper or even use an old undershirt and let her go. You can also make this a learning experience and ask her to draw a circle or a squiggly line. Also, there are several websites that have some great ideas for rainy days :) here is just one of the many websites. http://www.toddlertoddler.com/toddler_ac...

18 months --- sweet!!! With my little boy we used to crawl around in the floor together 4ever an he luved it!! I would let him chase me then I would chase him. Fun!!
You could read books, play hide an go seek, turn the radio on an dance, they love that. An let them look out the window at the rain or whatever the case may be, to see outside interest them! Just spending that time with one-another is a good thing too......./Hope yall have fun on yalls next rainy day!!! ;)

theres lots to do...take her on a hike where she can see the plants and trees and rivers. my daughter loved it and shes not one to sit still. and try the aquarium or zoo. but take a friend who has a baby the same age they feed off each other and if one is calm the other is too. Or go for a walk on the trails or bike ride. or go to your local library they have mommy and me time and its pretty cool. good luck
