I had my membranes stripped and later that night I went into labor! I had started losing my plug little by little a few weeks before that. Good luck!!! :-)

my plug and mebranes came out while i was in labour and i had my daughter 2 hours later, but everyone is different, just let your body and baby do what they need to , but if you haven't already call your midwife and tell her what's happening

if you have lost your plug AND your membranes were stripped i would say with in a week. But it is not an exact science. do lots of walking and have sex. that will help to speed things up. I am a labor and delivery nurse and expecting my second child in feb.

Your plug can fall out as much as a month before delivery. You can also be dialated for a while too! The week before I was due my dr stripped me to a 3 and thought he'd see me before the next weeks appt, but no... and when I saw him I was STILL a 3!!! The way I see it is we are forcing our body to do something that it may or may not necessarily be ready to do. So in some cases women are a 5 for a week and other cases you may go from a 4 to holding a baby in an hour? It all depends on that baby and when THEY are ready to come out!!!

My friend lost her plug 3 weeks before delivering! Could be a while yet.
