My baby is a week old today and loves to sleep. Like she's only awake for 2-4 hrs during the day. She still eats at night every 2 hours and during the day about every 3 hours. I think she has her days and nights mixed up a little. I heard they can be pretty sleepy at this age but just curious how it compares to others.

babys that lil usually only awake for 45 minutes at a time during the day then sleep for 2 or 3 hours

When my daughter was that little she slept all the time (20-22 hours/day). She didn't really have her days and nights mixed up but she woke up 2x a night for food and she was wet. It will get shorter and shorter as she grows up, mines down to 14 hours/day (sleep) at 18 months.
