so i have my 20 week ultrasound next week. My hubby has just informed me that he wants to find out the sex of the baby. before he said that i had no plans to find out. we didnt find out the sex with our first. so now i dont really no what to do :( and he cant keep as secret to save his life lol so him finding out and not me is not gonna happen.



update:

we found out the sex lol. where having a BOY! so now we will have a boy and a girl :)

Just tell him how important it is for you not to know, he has to be understanding--you guys have gone this long!!!

Tell him you do not want to know and tell him the reason why. I think it is a shame to know but most people do. If you tell the sonographer that you do not wish to know before she starts she will not say. Talk to your husband that it means a lot to you not to know, bat your eyelashes and
tell him how tired you are. You will get your way.

I know that if my hubby found out he would tell everyone and it would really upset me to know that a bunch of other people no the gender of my baby and not me. My hubby couldnt even keep my pregnancy a secret lol i wanted to wait till the end of the first trimester to announce it because i had 2 miscarriages right before this pregnancy. but then random people around town (i live in a small town) suddenly new i was pregnant even ppl i barley know so i was like how is this happening? well turns out my hubby told all his friends and even his hair dresser! lol so naturally i dont think he could be trusted with the sex secret haha with our first i didnt wanna no the sex and he just said he didnt care if we found out or not becuase i was the one that had to suffer threw 9 months of morning sickness and then labor so it was up to me lol. so i was surprise when he wanted to know this time.. i think he just really wants a boy this time and thats why he really wants to know. buti know ppl who have had been told the wrong sex and that would suck lol. our babys room is all neutral colors anyways and where not changing it so really the only this is clothing thing.

Difficult, for sure. I had my ob tell my hubby the sex of our 2nd child, and he told me. I just wanted the opposite of our 1st. Lol we had that. Though, I'll fully admit, it was all me, and what I wanted. Lol hubby told me he'd like to know, but, it was all me.



Does hubby have a friend, relative, outlet, he can spill to, who won't tell you? I know if I were a guy, I'd be bursting, like your hubby. :) I 'had' to know. :)
