Calling all Mums!
We are currently recruiting participants for a study relating to medicine use in small children. Parents of 2-3 year olds are invited to take part in the study. If you would like to participate, please read below for further details. If you know anyone who would be eligible to participate, please forward the link below.
As a token of gratitude for your participation, those who complete this study may enter into a draw for a chance to win a 100 euro All-4-One voucher.
The research question relates to how information is presented and communicated to parents. Over 100 other participants will take part in this study. This study will take place on three online sessions, which will be spread out over 2 weeks. In the first session, you will be invited to complete a short questionnaire. Two days later you will receive a follow-up email and you will be asked to read a short informative piece, which will be followed by another brief questionnaire. Finally, the third session will take place 10 days later and you will once again be invited to complete a short series of questions relating to the study. Each questionnaire session is designed to take no longer than 20 minutes and so, over the course of 2 weeks the study will take approximately 1 hour of your time to complete.
It is up to you to decide whether or not to take part. If you do decide to take part you will be asked to read a Consent Form online once you have accessed the website (see below for further details on how to access the website). If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw at any time and without giving a reason. A decision to withdraw at any time, or a decision not to take part, will not affect your rights in any way. If you decide to take part in this study, it will be your responsibility to take part in all three segments of the research. If for any reason you cannot continue with the study, you are asked to contact the researcher.
When all participants have been tested (this should be within 6-8 months of your participation), you will receive a summary of one or 2 pages of the main findings. While it could be up to 2 years before final results are published, we would be pleased to include you on an address list to receive publications arising from the study. Only general findings will be reported, without reference to identifiable individual results.
ONCE YOU HAVE DECIDED TO PARTICPATE YOU MAY ACCESS THE STUDY ONLINE. http://www.nuigalway.ie/psy/sub/coughsan...
