yeah I am 12 weeks also. Seems like My 2 1/2 yr old daughter uses the baby in mommy's tummy to her advantage. She says she wants to sleep with mommys baby when its nap time or bed time, basically when I am super exhausted and she is pushing those famous buttons. So reading all of your responses just doesnt give me much to look forward to later on in my pregnancy when I am REALLY uncomfortable. UGH lol

I am only 12 weeks pregnant so far, but I have a 23 month old son and I have a 5 year old and 15 month old that I take care of full-time. This weekend I had a friend whose baby had fluid in his chest cavity, was delivered via c-section at 33 weeks, then died 26 hours later. It has been a stressful weekend and the kids are just wild today. Thankfully they are all napping, but this morning I thought I was going to loose it! Then know when you've had enough and can't take any more, then they push you that much further.

I have a 2 1/2 yr old son, 11 yr old daughter and I am a little over 29 weeks preggo. I swear my son picks the WORST days to act up! He waits till I am so exhausted and then decides he is going to fight his nap and get into everything he is not supposed to! Or he fights with his sister on her days off from school or when she gets home from school.....GRRR!!! Then there are the other days when he is too adorable for words, lifting up my shirt and talking to the baby...lol! It's those days that make it all worthwhile.....

100% iv git a 16month old and i thought i was all alone with this. I think they pick up when you feel like crap. I dint know sometimes im at wits end! But then daddy comes home and she just seems like an angel! lol. good luck to all of us!

I have a little girl who will be 2 shortly after my son is born, and I am beginning to feel contractions {I am 32 weeks right now} which I'm hopin are just Braxton Hicks. My daughter does everything in her power to push her limits, and my buttons. My mom is a major help there, but it's still a problem because I feel like I'm not doing a good job as far as Addison is concerned. I just try to take a breath and let it go.

Amen sistah! I am 19 weeks with #2 and tending our #1 who is 2. I decided that pregnancy is too short of a time to let things bother me to the point of risking my health. I live in the moment, take one day at at time, and instead of "cleaning up messes" all the time, me and my toddler are "making memories" as he dumps chip/pretzles/oatmeal all over the carpet. He even helps mr run the vacume to clean it up. He loves it. And I save my energy by not spending it on getting upset.

thanks! yeah i have been getting family to help out even if i take her to their house and then go pass out in the back room for a bit. it seems to help some. i wish my huby would help out a little more too cuz im about ready to rip him a new one! lol! i just cant wait to have this baby and start the new chapter in my life!

You just nailed me on the head sweetie! My daughter is 2.5 and I am 32 weeks pregnant and have been having BH contractions for almost 2 weeks now. It does seem like they are pushing us on purpose, doesn't it? I would swear that they know how uncomfortable we are and it just thrills them to no end to needle us as long as they possible can.

I know that everyones budgets are tight nowadays, but I get a sitter for about 2 hours a week, and just leave. It doesn't matter where I go, sometimes a coffee shop, or just Target, but I am alone. It really helps me alot! I will sacrifice alot of things before I give up my alone time. Our sanity is worth $20 a week. Good luck, Sister!
