I'm 6.5 weeks along and other that missing my period, a positive pregnancy test, and my doctor confirming it.... I'm not really feeling pregnant! I know every pregnancy is different but when I was pregnant with my daughter (she's now 2) I had morning sickness starting at 5 weeks, had to urinate every 10 minutes, cramping, and was falling asleep standing up! I'm a little tiered and occasionally a little nauseous with this pregnancy but nothing that would make me say "WOW I'm pregnant!" I'm hoping this just means I will have a easier pregnancy this time!

My 2nd preg. was a breeze! I didn't even get miserable at the very end. My midwife told me that typically your 2nd one is easier, although you might be achier.

My first pregnancy felt so easy. I was extremely close to having gestational diabetes, toxemia, preclampsia and had very high blood pressure. I felt great, I had no idea how bad I was doing and by the end of my pregnancy I was retaining so much water that my legs looked like an elephants because I had no ankles left. This time around, I have constant morning sickness and extreme fatigue. I can't do anything w/out regretting it for the next 4 hours plus. I haven't been told I have gestational diabetes or anything else yet. I'm not swollen at all and am almost in the third trimester. I really hope I don't develop any of those additional problems this time around or it will be bed rest for sure. I hope your pregnancy continues to go just as smoothly as it is now.

I am one month away from having baby # 2 and the pregnancies have been very different. I had a lot more morning sickness that lasted until 20 weeks this time. I have also had a lot more pain and pressure with this one. I am also much more tired, but have a 17 month old to keep up with this time. There have been things that are better this time. I do not have gestational diabetes this time, which I did the first time around. With my first I had carpal tunnel syndrome so bad that I couldn't even feel my finger for the last two or three months. This time it hasn't really been a problem at all.

That's good to know im TTC my no 2 now & with my first within the first 3 weeks (when i didn't know) was really emotional in an angry way, craved caramello koalas, had such sore breasts that i had to hold them walking down stairs & i was fainting! i feel i am preg but have no symptoms other than "a feeling" & a little nausea which means that either I'm preg with a lot less symptoms or I'm crazy cos i want to be preg so bad (I'm hoping its the first :))

i had excatly the same second time around and people say that if no mornin sickness or nething it a boy. worked for me i got my boy

[deleted account]

Everyone I know says the second one is worse, even my doctor. Keep in mind like me they all had breezy first pregnancies. I guess the one consistant truth is that the second pregnancy seems to be the opposite of your first one lol not so great for me but theres hope for all the moms who had rough first time pregnancies :)

My 1st pregnancy was sooo easy. almost no morning sickness, normal appetite, not much fatigue, little pain til last trimester...etc. This time I've had morning sickness since I conceived( to the point of having to be put on medicine just to be able to hold anything down and gain any weight), Constantly tired(that may have something to do with having a toddler. lol), always having to pee, frequent headaches, horrible back and hip pain, insomnia...etc. I thought for sure I was going to be having a boy this time because of how different it's been but I am having another girl :) It's amazing how different it can be each time.

My 1st one was a breeze: nothing apart from tiredness up to 10-12 wks. This time, i could tell i am pregnant even b4 the test: nausea, tiredness, had to wee constantly even now at 14 weeks and eat a lot to get rid of the sickness. I am showing already, but that's just normal i read for the 2nd baby and predict ill be huge at the end of it lol good luck everybody x

I got morning sickness at 6 weeks with my last one and it lasted the entire pregnancy. I had pressure in my abdomen from about week 2.

With this one I'm starting to show signs of morning sickness but I have a week before it went on full force with the last so we'll see. I have been exhausted I've been sleeping about 10-11 hours a night and still wake up tired. I still feel the pressure that I did with my last.

It is kind of exciting to see how the pregancy will play out.
