what weird or odd cravings do you have

with my Daughter i craved lemons. I would eat them like they were oranges. pickles and banana peppers straight from the jar. I'm pregnant again. I was raised on NO milk unless in cereal. (I had croup a lot! and my brother had asthma it created more breathing problems for the both of us. after research I decided to raise my daughter on coconut milk rather then regular milk. the idea of drinking another animals milk grosses me out. i apologize for this but i picture a person feeding off a cow utter when i even think of milk ) I drink a quart of chocolate milk a day! Its my only craving! i hate the idea of it but my poor fiance told me he thought my pre-pregnancy views were healthy and he was worried about my dairy in take. I broke down crying and he went out to buy me two gallons.

this is my first child and the cravings i have had are crazy peas and mayoh, chicken tomato sauce and ranch, and an english muffin with chesse and mayoh and im not a big fan of milk but have been having more of it lately

I am craving melted sharp cheese on english muffins and Squirt Soda pop. The worst part is that I can't find squirt soda pop anywhere, so I subsitute it for an off brand name. Sigh. Its not the same. I should be about 6 weeks. I bet you its a boy. Funny after typing this I didn't think the English muffin craving was weird, until now. In the passed week I went through four packs of English muffins (when I had an appetite and didn't feel like puking). The Squirt soda craving started yesterday. So far I have been through 3 litres of it. I even walked to Foodlion (a grocery store about 5 blocks away) to get it, cause no where sells it. Does this mean my body is lacking something?

daughter #1: Pickles on a Pb&J, Steak and Spaghetti, Potato chips dipped in ketchup, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Twisslers and Swedish Fish candies, and LOTS and LOTS of mountain dew.
Daughter #2: Cookies, Chocolate covered cranberries, Doughnuts, Pizza, Guacamole, Mexican Rice, Homemade Chips and Salsa that had to come from a mexican restaurant (no store bought tortilla chips!), and Watermelon Slushies from Sonic.

With all three my very first craving was rasberry ripple ice cream. With my second one time i noticed all my shopping was purple, everything i chose was purple, blue berries, ribena ect. My weird one, and i mean weird, was squashed bananas on toast (which is actually not that bad and my kids love it even today) but it was with sardines too, on the same slice. Ugh!!! made me cringe at the time and i knew it was soooo wrong but i had to lol. My friends craving was to sit in a bath and suck ice cold water out of a sea sponge because it felt nice. Weird, but could hardly take the mick after eating sardines and bananas on toast!

First pregnancy - Ice and lettuce with cheese on it and potato skins with sour cream from sizzler.
This one- frozen coke and anything with salt (mostly chips- hot or cold) and veges. i have to have at least 4 different kinds of veges with my dinner. Just started craving ice again. probably because im drinking too much soda and ice is the best way to get water in. lol

lol.I'm kinda hoping it's a girl,but at the same time,I wanna boy so my little boy has a playmate.a poutine is a canadian thing,but it's especially huge out in st.laurent,manitoba where I am from.It's fries,gravy and mozzarella cheese.I know it's called mozza fries in some places.

its possible, melanie! I always seem to crave sweets when i'm pregnant with girls. My first was a girl and I love veggies, but also ice cream and chocolate. Second was a boy, loved junk food. but not really sweets. lol This third is a girl and I want spicy, salty, and CHOCOLATE. lol

With my son,in the very beginning,I craved poutines from KFC,which is weird,because normally,not that big of a fan of them,I prefer a poutine from a restaurant in my hometown called MTT.Then it turned into a craving for V-8 juice.I drank at least a litre and a half a day with salt in it.After that disappeared,it turned into salt,salt and more salt,usually sprinkled on some veggies or cheese.I would eat a plate of like 2 tomatoes,a cucumber,cheese,and celery at night for a snack.lol
With this pregnancy it's been all sweets.Pancakes for breakfast,every meal has to end with some sort of sweet for dessert,almost everynight I'm eating a chocolate bar,or some chocolate for a snack.It's crazy my sweet/chocolate craving.
But,with my first pregnancy,I craved salt and it was a boy,this one is sweets,so maybe a girl?

My 1st one was potatoes and jalapenos.
My 2nd was junk, anything sweet
And with this one all I want is any kind of fruit and tortilla soup (not together). Its the only thing that sounds good. Sweets actually upset my stomach and leave a bad taste in my mouth which I am grateful for..LOL

My 1st pregnancy all I wanted was meat...steaks, burgers, bacon (my husband was in heaven...LOL) And now my son is a big meat eater. This time I want pepperchini's all the time...I go through jars of them. Also I want ice cream. It's weird how the body does that.

i find out on thurs if i am haveing one or twins and twins do run in the family and everyone thinks it is twins, i am 9 weeks and i can feel the baby or babies move already. i know people say you cant but let me tell you i know it is not gas or anything like that, i also have been craving a lot of cheese.

I have the specific ones as well. With this pregnancy as well as my first it's always been stuff I liked pre-pregnancy but then NEEDED!
1st- philly steak sandwiches loaded with extra onion and vanilla coke(which I could hardly ever find!)
This time- $1 menu from BK the Spicy Chick n Crisp cola slushies and strawberry milkshakes

It's always a sandwich and a type of soda! Maybe thats my pregnant with girl trend...I hope it changes next time around and I crave something I hate and I have a boy! lol

haven't had any weird ones- just very specific ones- like with my first pregnancy, I wanted cold mcdonalds fries. I was always so disapointed when they gave me fresh ones.
2nd time I was very impressionable. Whenever anyone around me was eating, I had to have what they were having- and I worked in a pretty relaxed environment so I was basically eating at my desk ALL DAY.
This time I'm having specific ones again. Like I was craving nachos- like the kind that are round chips with orange sauce in the clear plastic container at ball games. My hubby came home from the grocery store with so totally the wrong sauce and he couldn't understand why I couldn't eat it.

Jalapeno Poppers. (little fried appetizer stuffed with jalapeno and cream cheese) Before pregnancy, I was so-so about them, didn't like them,didn't hate them. Then pregnant and I WANTED them, and they tasted better than I ever remember them tasting before. lol How does that happen?! :D
