My 21 month old son pulls his pants down, several times a day. When we are in public/with family everyone laughs so he thinks it is great. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to get the little guy to not walk around with his pants around his ankles?

ask family to not laugh, i know this is hard, try to get family and friends to not respond .don't even look at him if it is safe to do so. he is doing it for the attention that it gets him so if you take away the attention he should lose interest. it will take some perseverance on your part and you won't always be able to get everyone to ignore him but keep at it. if out in public just behave normally as if he hasn't done anything and straighten him up as if it hasn't happened. i know it is frustrating but good luck and god bless from the mum of an adhd and autistic child
