My daughter will be 4 in March. I am just having activities for the kids like making a cookie, games and things like that. They are all going to decorate their own cookie. Then I figure a game to win prizes. I haven't thought of which one yet but there are plenty!

I completely understand! My son will be three in January so we always have indoor parties too... When planning an at home party with young children I try to Keep things in two rooms Kitchen/ Living room, Balloons are a great idea hand up some streamers Maybe even throw in a pinata Kids Love those!! Theme the party as whatever your little girls' favorite character or thing is.. Set up some fruit and vegetable trays and some pretzels for snacking I always bake my own cake but local bakeries do enjoy decorating birthday cakes for little ones, Maybe order some pizza or make whatever she likes! and yes Dollar Store is a Great place to get Party decorations!

We had my sons 2 year party at our house. It was indoors b/c it was raining. We blew up balloons, and had the kids put them in a cloth laundry basket. I went to the dollar store and bought some bubble stuff, sun glasses, and gold fish and put them in a mini watering can( our theme was under the sea.

We bought dollar gifts at target, every child went home with a watering can and a gift. I bought cup cakes, watermelon slices, and capri suns. I also made the food we ate.

When my son opened his gift, I let the child that gave it to him help him open it.
