From the Scientific point of view:
The method used to recycle disposable diapers is very simaler to that of washing cloth diapers.
The Disposable diapers are first sent down a conveyer belt which is lined with a bunch of people who take any sold "SOLID" waste out that they can (very smelly and messy job) this does not include lose feces, and mashed up crap. Next all the diapers loaded in to a big vat with holes small enough to let water through in the bottom, they are than pressure washed with a mix of chemicals and mostly water. After this the lid is placed on the vat and it is presherised to drain excess water. The diapers than go on another trip down a conveyer belt for a shreding and than fall in to a mixer wear pieces are mixed with more chemicals and mostly hot water. The slurry (as it is at this stage) is than poured in too a high speed mixer (simaler to a juicer) and presherised. At this point the slurry is now more like a smoth smelly milkshake. It is than poured in too another vat wear it is mixed with antibacterial chemicals and special kinds of bacteria. It sits here for 24, hours being kept at a constint 34 degrees celceus. Next it is heated to a high tempriture and the water is evapirated from the mix, it is now sterile. It is than packed in to cubes which are sent on to another part of the recycling plant. From there I dont know what happens.
But yea thats how you clean a Disposable Diaper.
and Yea its not just baby diapers they wash, they clean adult disposable diapers and animal disposable diapers. Yuck.
Good for the enviroment though.

Well, I've visited the website you quoted in your post. I need to ask you, Jennifer Bargeron, are you the same person as Diapered2007? Are YOU, personally involved in recycling programmes using dirty diapers? Is Diapered2007 personally involved in the recycling of dirty diapers? Or have you just carried out an interesting websearch in order to add credence to this peculiar thread?
The weblink is a convincing argument for recycling diapers. Even though it says "The process includes collecting and sterilizing used diapers, separating the components, and creating new products from the absorbent polymers, organic matter, and plastics.
Read more at http://www.environmentalgraffiti.com/was..."
All of the above process would require expensive resources and machinery, a licence from Public Health etc .... It's not really something that an individual can do on their own. But most of all anyone who was genuinely involved in this recycling process would NOT post on a Mother's Chat Forum asking to BUY used diapers!! You can get used diapers for FREE everywhere you go!
Just my thoughts - but feel free to respond to this because I'm now fascinated by the angle you've presented.

The LADY who made this post was looking for suggestions on ways to start a recycling company.
She's not a troll.
If some of you had SPOKEN to her, you could have understood what she was asking...instead of judging her.

Since the OP is called "Diapered2007" and asks for dirty diapers (dirty nappies as we call them in the UK!) I think we can safely assume that Diapered2007 is a troll.
Unless, of course Diapered2007 was looking for CLOTH diapers, that he/she was willing to wash & get clean to use again?
But no, I doubt it! This is a wind-up thread.
Shame on anyone that was taken in! There's one born every minute!
