Buy regular jar of apple sauce with the same ingredients as the baby food jars. (Apples, water, and absorbic acid (vitaminC)). If the baby is younger puree in the blender. Same thing as in the babyfood jar and cheaper.

Quoting Cheridah:

What did you do regarding regular foods, like spaghetti?

I put in in a chopper that just cut it fine.  It is like a small food processor.  But I didn't do that  til they were like 10-12 months or after they tried everything else.  I always believe every mom Knows the best for their child.

Just an easy way for people who don't want to make their own to save money. I also made my own carrots, sweet potatoes, squash. But I found that it was hard to tell when peaches, pears and apples were just right.

I make all baby food (not apple sauce unless I get good apples). Like vegetable meals.
