Do you shop at big box stores to save money?

We found that we really don't save shopping there at least we didn't when we lived so close to the store and didn't really stock pile we are going to go back in to Costco and do some price comparisons on the things that we are going to start stock piling since we live an hour and half away from a decent store. (the local market don't even have tortillas lol so its not to well stocked and the prices are way out there so the drive is worth it to get enough for a few weeks)

I love Costco. We save money on diapers alone. With another one, yeah, we'll need it. I found that the chicken package is ends up being about $1.50 less at Costco vs. Freds (for the same package same amount). I get our canned tomatoes at Costco too. Even when Freds has their 10 for $10 deal on the canned tomatoes, Costco is less. Not to mention I totally was on board with the last Costco coupon of buy one box get one free. Oh yes, and batteries. Now we buy them once a year instead of once to twice a month. Nothing is more annoying than your child getting a new toy and having no batteries for it.

We don't go through fruits and veg quick enough to buy it there. Same with breads. We will get yogurt sometimes, but that is more of a treat for us.
