Childrens Clothing Swaps

I'd like to trade my 4 year old's clothing for the next size up. I seem to remember seeing clothing swaps online - where you send in your box of clothes and within a week or so you receive a box of clothes in the size you specified - but at the moment I can't remember where I saw this. Does anyone have experience with this? Or can anyone recommend a trusted site?

I have never consigned children's clothes before and (like all of us) feel this might be too time consuming. I paid good money for the clothes and would like to get some benefit for the gently worn items. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. (Trying to stay within a tight budget this year).

We have a place called Once upon a Child that pays cash on the spot. Not sure if it's nationwide though.

ThreadUp.com used to be a swap site, now they only do consignment. That can still be handy if you have the brands they prefer. They don't accept some common brands.

hi, moms! you all sound like the kind of women who will appreciate this: peace. love. swap! we are a community based event that allows local moms to get together in a fun, party-like atmosphere to swap our gently used maternity, infant, kids and teens clothing, toys and accessories! volunteers set the clothing/up in an organized way on racks and tables while the moms enjoy a silent auction and vendor show w/lots of free samples! i am the coordinator for the east side of hampton roads (ches, vb, norfolk) and brandy l. is the coordinator for the west side (suffolk, surry, isle of wight). we both have events coming up in october and november - including a joint event: a "green halloween" COSTUME swap and halloween party!! :) please check our links/fb pages to see the latest information, or to participate as a volunteer, vendor or swapper! you can email me with questions at stephaniec@peaceloveswap.com. check www.peaceloveswap.com and search for our cities - connect w/us on fb, too! :) hope to see you at our fall events!! :) stephanie c.

Edit- but I guess you could find someone looking for that size and swap them through the mail.

I've never heard of online clothing swaps. I take my daughter's too small clothing and sell it to a children's clothing store (if they want it thats the next question)
