Does anyone know much about a place where you can help sort or bag food for others, and get to take home a couple bags for yourself? I live in Pasco Co. FL, and I heard there might be one in Land O' Lakes area.

you should look at www.shareflorida.org each site runs a little different but they are awesome in assisting people who have food needs... also some sites have 'charity' cases where if you really need the food and you cant afford it they can help out.... you can always call each site in your area and see what they offer.... the one in my area always has 'extras' such as free bread or desserts or veggies.... they have even had free diapers at one point. Hope this helps!
