Do moms really think that going green means spending more money?

I recently read, that many moms are hesitant to lead more eco-friendly lives as they feel that its too expensive.
I started to write a blog post series on how one can actually SAVE money by going green and it all seems so obvious to me. I'm wondering if there still are moms who think its expensive and why so?

I don't. It's definitely less expensive! Making your own shampoo/conditioner, facial scrubs, detergents, they cost less than buying one!
