Our son is autistic and he is very particular about the food he eats. He eats mostly apples, peanut butter sandwiches, pizza, and Burger King chicken nuggets only and a lot of snacks like crackers, chips, and cookies. He drinks mostly water - he doesn't care too much for juice. We just keep giving him different foods and he's learning to slowly try foods. He'll smell foods first before taking a bite. We give him a chewable vitamin every day. He's thin but that runs in the males in my family - but overall, he's a healthy boy. It'll just take time for him to open up to other foods.

My son is now 10 but he went through a phase when he was 2 where he only ate vanilla pudding, vanilla yogurt, vanilla shakes. He did it for about 5-6 months but he ended up okay. I was glad when the phase was over. I would try healthy drinks since he will drink liquids. Mine wouldn't even drink water. Best of luck to you :)

If he eats liquid drinks, then you can try to make smoothies out of different fruit and veggie combos to get his nutrition! Best of luck!
