hand me down clothes

My son and my nephew are 18 months apart, and most of (75%+) of my son's clothes came from there, until we moved about 700 miles away. Now I do a lot of shopping for my son at communite garage sales in the city we live near. It's surprising what you can get so cheap. The ones I like to go to are the ones held in school gyms and community centers. Most of them charge either $1 or $2 admission to get in, but it's worth it. Most of the ones I go to are for young children (my son is 20 months old) and they cater to children under about 6 year old. They are usually fund raisers for wherever it's held. I find that they are much better then going to thift stores or doing garage sales that are at peoples houses. I'm not sure if they do sales like these in other places, but they are huge where I'm from in Canada.

I have taken hand me downs off my friends and I have kept all of Olivers plain stuff incase we have a girl, I have put them into sections....stuff for boys and stuff that can be used on girls too. I know when we have another if it is a girl...all my family and friends will go crazy buying pinks and urples and therefore I need to have the nutreul stuff, which thanks to Oliver we have!

Girl, I hear ya! I wish my kids wouldn't be so far apart so we could have done that. Logan is 10 and I am pregnant with our second. We've been buying clothes for the baby and it's so expensive... and I know he will grow out of everything so quick!
