I prefer these over the store bought wipes.
Take a Bounty paper towel roll and cut it in half so that you have 2 small rolls. Place 1 roll in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.
In a glass measuring cup (glass bowl) mix together the following:
1 2/3 cups Water,
2 Tablespoons Baby Oil,
1 Tablespoon Baby Wash.
Pour over roll that is in the airtight container and let sit for 5 minutes. Pull out the cardboard center and close container. Now you have wipes. You can adjust the amounts above to suit your preference.
You only want to make one batch at a time so that they do not mildew on you. I have not had a problem with the batch in use going bad. Very easy and economical!

Quoting Kendra:

How long has the batch lasted you? And no issues with mildew? Sounds like such a great money saving tip, just a lil weary on the idea....

My son is 2.5 so we don't go through many diapers/wipes in a day.  Right now one batch will last me about a month.  And no issues with mildew - even in the summer when we haven't had the A/C on - we live in NJ, which can be pretty humid.  I use a slide top gallon-sized storage bag.

another good idea is to use old receiving blankets and cut them into squares. Then just wash with your bath towels when you wash.
