How can I get my 11 month old to fall asleep on her own in her crib?

There is a great book called BabyWise: Giving Your Infant the Gift of Nighttime Sleep. A friend recommended it to me and my son started sleeping through the night at 2 months old.

Yes, you will have to let her cry.  It's the worse noise in the world, I know.  However, I have a 6 yr old who is just starting to fall asleep on his own!  It was a struggle.  Anyway, the younger you start the easier it will be.

We just went through this ourselves. You are going to have to give in and let her cry. It will take about three days. It gets better each night. This is what our dr told us and she was right!!
