How do I pay off credit card debt fast?

I have 4 credit cards and want to pay at least 1 off. I will pay it down then make more charges on it. What is a good way to pay off a credit card without going broke?

Google Dave Ramsey and get his book. He's great!

Basically you pay off one bill and then whatever you have been paying on the first bill, you add on to next and keep doing that, until you pay the bills off. I did it, and it works fast.

Sometimes they have programs where they can help you lower your payment and the interest rate. I would check into those.

I would look at your budget and see what you have extra and pay that amount on the card you want to pay off. Also try not to put any extra charges on that card you could also transfer your balance to another card if that is an option with any of your cards.
