I think my best one to date was 237 dollors in groceries for 98 dollors. I clip coupons and then make meals out of the things that I can get on sale. wow-coupon.com, freecoupons.com, smartsource.com, coolsavings.com, bestsmartbuys.com, shopbycoupons.com, couponsuzy.com are the sites that I use the most. Also watch the things that you buy, sometimes they have coupons inside. Another thing is to check websites like kraft, cambels, ect. You might also try posting on craigslist asking for unused coupons. I have know people who had good luck with that as well.

I like to stockpile on grocery's at their rockbottom price. So I stock up on everything my family loves. When I do my weekly shopping trips I only have to purchase perishable items like bread, veggies and milk. I have a huge stockpile of every other item. Ofcourse just saving $0.40 on an item doesn't cause more than a huge headache. But if the item is on sale for $1.00 than using my $1.00 coupon, I get it for FREE! That is where using coupons saves you big!! I am here for all your coupon needs.

I am a coupon clipper with matching sales with coupons, I easily save an average of 45% on my bill. I am trying to locate the links tab to post my new website. I just started it about 3 weeks ago and it has grocery store deals for the Northeast.

I have been able to add my website to the links section. From what I read it is against the rules to put websites in these conversations, so please look it up on my profile or email me. I hope it helps people save money on groceries.

Today I saved $55 with coupons clipped from the paper and found on items at the grocery store. Before coupons my bill was $140 after $85! Give or take 40% Over the course of a months that is over $200 in savings. Definitely worth it ;-}

I use coupons and they really save me money. I don't go to extremes, instead I only get what I actually use. I save a lot of money and end up getting a lot of things for free. I love the coupon diva website. They do all the work for me and all I have to do is print out the coupons and take them to the store. For example - yesterday I got 12 boxes of bandaids for free, in this house with a rowdy 3 year old, they will actually be used. I love using coupons.

I started couponing really heavily the last two months. From our OOP(out of pocket) two months ago to what we had oop this month, I have cut our grocery and toiletry bill by 50%. My best trip so far on groceries was $437 worth of food ad diapers for $129. As far as soap and stuff, I go to Walgreens and price match with sales and coupons and on average spent $18- $25 for over $100 worth of product. I hope to learn to be more savvy with the coupons in the coming months too.

Nothing if you eat healthy foods. There are no coupons for fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, and lean meats. However, you can make quick meals weekly by using some of the same items, buying less. We only buy fresh fruits, vegetables, beans/lentils, lean meats, oats, whole wheat bread (because it’s not that easy to bake and come out fluffy), boxed wheat cereals for the kids, milk for the kids, spices, and coffee to keep us going. We shop at Wal-Mart after doing a full price comparison between Safeway, Sprouts, Whole Foods (a total money suck), and Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart was the cheapest, we spend for a family of four, $100 a week on just food. We can get it down cheaper if we opt for frozen vegetables, brown rice and chicken breasts for a stir-fry for the week when money is tight. We don’t eat out more than once a month, which is usually reserved for date night.

Just be careful! I realized that even though i use coupons i can save more money just by buying generic brand products. Might not be what you WANT or LIKE but if your on a budget keep that in mind. Coupons only show what you save on that brand to get you to use that brand, you know? Compare prices! coupons or no coupons =] hope that helps

Clipping coupons on an average will save you like 68dollars for a hour of clipping. I started in like November of 2010 and saved like 2000 dollars already in coupons. I go in and have to save at least half on my bill. Today I went in and spent 65 and saved 76 dollars. Thats just one trip I go at the least one time per week. I got started by watching the extreme couponing show!!!

To all the mom's who are using coupons to save big. How did you get started. Did you read a book? Did it come to you in a dream? Really, what's the secret to using coupons to my advantage?

wow...Thanks Jennifer! I had no idea they price match and accept two coupons per item (one store and one manufacturer). That's awesome. I always end up spending waaay more than I plan to in target, so this is good to know.

A lot! If you use the coupon blogs to match sales with coupons. I usually save 60% plus each week at the grocery store. The drugstores are great too!

LaShon, this is a great question. I've been couponing for almost 3 years now. The first time I actually went to the store armed with coupons, I saved 82% at a Kroger Mega Sale. Now I operate my own website and save an average of $116 a week and spend $25 per person in my family a week. I also am able to spend $5 a week to grab items that are FREE or darn near close to it and give it back to the community!

You can take couponing to the extreme or to save a few bucks here and there. It's really easy to combine a coupon with a sale and begin a small stockpile. Plus, it's like an addiction to see how much you can get for way less than you would normally pay!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Same as Avonia, I match sales with coupons and do save alot. I plan meals for the week and sometimes can get items free when a coupon doubles and the item is on sale. I don't buy things that aren't on my list just because I have a coupon or it is on sale. Another thing I do to save a little time and money is price match the ads. I'm not sure about the other grocery stores, but Walmart will pricematch any grocery add you bring with you. You just let the cashier know that you have a few pricematch items, I seperate them to make checkout a little easier, then show the cashier your ad. I do this everytime I go grocery shopping and it does save. And I'm not running from store to store to get sale prices, so saving a little time and gas is always good too. :)

Like most people these days we have been trying to save money. I hate spending so much at the grocery store and leaving with a half empty cart. I only buy what is on sell in less it something we have to have (like milk). I have been trying to find a good website for free grocery coupons, any help would be great. Thanks

I think it all depends on how commited you are to clipping coupons and do you look for coupons for what you need or do you just buy something because you have a coupon? I figure every little bit helps, though so even if I don't have a lot of coupons I still take the ones I have. Also, if there's something I want to try but am not sure I will like it or it seems expensive, having a coupon helps me feel better about buying it! Really, though, I am finding that sometimes the best way to save is to buy what is on sale and plan meals around that (or stock up for a week when there may not be a good sale).
