Hi, I'm Brandy, a work-at-home mom, who is writing a book compiling funny stories from women all over the world about being a woman. I want women to be able to laugh at themselves and want us to be less self-conscious. I’m interviewing hundreds of women on their real-life experiences on being a woman. We all have a story to tell, just think about the stories that you and your girlfriends laugh about. If you are interested in being interviewed either reply to this post with your email or email me at Brandy@talesfromthestirrups.com . From there I will send you a questionnaire/survey that helps to jog your memory of potential stories that you may want to share. Thank you ahead of time for help. This has been such a joy to enjoy all of these stories and I can't wait to share them with the women of the world!!
Sincerely in Stirrups,
Brandy Harrell

I have the funniest story. When my daughter Whitney was 2 she was having a tea party in the living room of our apartment. She was sitting at a Little Tikes table and chairs.Of course she had her stuffed animals ocuppying the chairs and she wanted me to come and join her. Well I love tea parties so of course I accepted her invitation. Whitney began pouring the tea (really water) into all the guests little cups. As she got to me I said what a good job you did without spilling a drop. She beamed proudly. She then picks up her cup and begins to drink and says "drink mommy". As I pick up the tea cup it occurs to me, Where did she get this water. We had a water cooler but I knew it wasn't from there, because we took the spigot off because she would push on it and watch all the water spill on the floor and laugh. She was much to short for the kitchen sink even if she stood on a chair. The only place left was the sink in the bathroom. So I said to her "Whitney where did you get this water from? Show mommy where you got the water from." She took her little teapot and marched right into the bathroom and opened up the toilet and said "Right here mommy, there is a bunch in the toilet, and I did it all by myself! Needless to say I was aghast! Without panicing I explained that was yucky water and we are not supposed to drink it. Well we washed all the cups and teapot and our hands and started all over again. The I told her" if you ever want to have a tea party again, let mommy get you the water." Oh I forgot,I personally did not drink the (tea) but Whitney had already had several cups before the tea party started. Thankfully she never got ill.

I myself am in the process of writing a book but it's more fo a self help, self awareness type for women (and men). I was in a coffee shop in NYC a few months ago and had an author overhear me talking to a friend about some of my life experiences in my only 22 years! She encouraged me to pursue my dream of writing a book to make young women and men) aware of the unfortunate different types of abuse and abusive behaviors that we sometimes find ourselves involved in. And how to turn these unfortunate situations into positive life experiences and changes for the better. Just as I was encouraged to do, I would love to help in anyway that I could to help get your book up and running (so to speak). You can email me anytime at diana.legere@gmail.com and I would be more than happy to reply :) Best of luck to you with your book!
