Holly, my son ALWAYS forgot to turn the lights, WII, T.V., electronics off...so we started putting a $ amount that he owed us on the times he foregets.  He was at $5 that he owed us for forgetting.  He earns his money back when he catches us "forgetting:.  It is a fun game and saves $ on electricity.  We are even now so on gaurd for someone to be so forgetfull.... :)
