Hi I am desperately wanting to have some advice pertaining to how to get my toddler started in the modeling industry? She has the "look" and awesome personality and I think she'd be simply awesome at it and commecials, etc but here there doesn't seem to be any really legitimate agency's to contact for her age group (2). Please help!!

both of my babies have an agent. we live about 30 miles outside of Boston. We went to see 1 agent in Boston when we were "Shopping" for one. they wanted $140 to put my son in their "book". NEVER give anyone $$ up front. We went with one just outside of Boston, and all I have to do is send them professional photos every 3 or so months, and with the JC Penney coupons of $3.99 a sheet, and my scanner/printer, I get 1 8x10 of each child and make copies at home to send them (yes, I know it's not really legal to make copies). I send them 8 or so copies of each child. the kicker... My SIL went with the agency that wanted the $$, and we went to all the same calls. We go to calls all the time, but haven't been hired yet. we'll stick with it for a bit longer though. Hasbro is in RI and they have bi-annual calls just to get a "catalog" of models out there, and they could call you at any time. If you're in the area, look into www.thecameoagency.com. they're in Waltham MA. Just do your research, and don't let them tell you your baby needs professional photos done by them , cuz , yes they do need them done by a professional, but sears or Penneys will do.. I did a lot of reasearch online first, and always check with the better business bureau (www.bbb.com) to see if there are any complaints.
