My 1 year old son hits others.We tried a lot to make him understand and say no to him everytime.But he does not understand.What to do..

I say hit him back! thats how I tell my kids. you dont hit unless you want to be hit. My 1 yr old does the same thing as well will just walk up & hit kids when I see this I walk up to him & hit him where he hit the other child. I have a naturally strong voice so when I put it into effect it usually causes some tears. but show him the GOLDEN RULE do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

He probably is not going to understand. Just keep telling him gentle. Take his hands and put them down when he hits and remove him from the situation. That's about all I can say.
