how do I get organized to use adds and coupons with out talking myself into buying stuff I don't usually buy, right now we're just cuttin even kinda on the whole affording everything, but what about money for the future right, the future my children need me to save for

I do pretty much the same as Gladis, I go every few months and but my meat in bulk at costco, I but tenderloin and ground beef, I come home weigh the beef out into 1lb freezer bags and the tenderloin my husband cuts into chops and I freeze 4 to a bag. (enough four ourself and our 2yrs old, I also have a 6 month old) Then I have meat for at least 3 months exspensive at the time but in the long run saves me money, Then when I make my meal plan I already know what meats I have I just have to worry about the side dishes/sauces. I only but what I need from my meal plan! I also only buy clothes from the clearance section and if there are clothes too big but for a REALLY good deal I grab them and I have a rubermaid tot at home I put them in till they fit my kids! I have also just started making my own jams, canning peache, pears and applesauce so that I have these products year round! I think that saves money! And for saving for my kids future, Right now we dony have a lot of extra It is only my husband that works, so 1 income 4 people very tight, but I have my account set up so that my child tax gets direct deposit to my savings account and then from there I have it set up that $50 a month directly gets paid to my childrens RESP, That way I dont have to worry about remembering and I cant decide hey not this month Im not going to pay! And in the future when we can afford more we with deposit more! Just do what you can!

Hope some of that info helped LOL

Here is what I do...I try to write out a plan of what I want to eat for a couple of days. Making sure that the food I get, I have a little extra for leftovers so I can use that at work the next day...just saved myself having to spend money on lunch. Get yourself a group of moms that hand down clothing...you hand down to another mom and other moms hand down to you. This saves a ton of money! When you go buy clothes, go straight for clearance. I buy clothes too big sometimes for my kids and if they are simple anytime time clothes...(jeans-tshirts-jackets-sweaters-underwear-socks)...you can get stuff that will last, buy in advance on great clearance prices and then you can hand down from your oldest to your youngest. A big saver! When you go out to eat...don't get soda...get water (it's free). Saves me $2-$3 per person, that adds up super quick. Plus it also saves on calories...so you win twice with this one.

Hope at least 1 of these tips helps! :) Let me know if any of this works for you.
