Library, museums, beaches, zoos, park, take a walk, sidewalk chalk/paint, gardening, visit local sites, local music festivals are usually free, visit a nursing home, clean out the old toys, read a chapter book together

Have you checked out Family Fun magazine ? You can view it on the internet and it is chocked full of fun ideas for keeping children busy and happy! I also love to take my children to the library, most of them have a summer reading program that offers prizes for books read. My children love this and it is free!!
