Last night we made 3 pizzas, a bbq chicken, hawaiin, and margarita pizza for really cheap. It would have costed much more to buy pizza from a resturant. I save money by making things from scratch. I love making soups, like split pea or vegetable, to make the dollar go further. To get recipes, I google what I want to make and millions of recipes pull up. It's awesome. Plus with the pizza, I didn't get heartburn! Homemade is always better.

I totally agree.  I make just about everything homemade and I'm lucky enough that my parents own a farm so they make their own sausages, smoked meats, etc.  So I get all of that good stuff.  Last Hallowe'en I had a little party and for the kids I cut out pumpkin shape individual sized pizzas out of the dough and they got to put on their own toppings.  It saved me alot on what I would have spent on burgers and hot dogs and kids loved it.....so did the parents
