I haven't started yet, but I plan on starting a trust fund and a separate college fund for the twins once they're born in August.

Start using upromise thats how we got started and then with holidays and birthdays we just started putting money in a small savings account. You'd be surprised how things accumulate. My son is 4 1/2 and my daughter will be 3 this July and they have a decent amount of money so far. We interest shop to make sure we are getting the best interest rate we can find.
