I get clothes from friends for my daughter and I also buy from second hand stores, and then pass them on. They grow so fast and their wardrobes need updating so often I save a lot by going second hand!

try shopping at value village and salvation army ,you get some great buys there and they are priced reasonably.

Check out freecycle.org. Search by area.  People give away bags of children's clothes.
