When your kids are little you can get them things they need rather than all toys- they really mostly like to unwrap the presents. I also have gotten quite a few things from the Dollar Store in my area. There are lots of Gift Jar ideas online from food/drinks to bath salts

I just posted this on another post about coupon help and I don't want to sound like I'm trying to sell something, but I use the Grocery Game (www.thegrocerygame.com). For a few bucks I get a list of sales in local stores paired with coupons in local papers and I regularly save 40-50% on my grocery bill. I want to be clear, I have no affiliation with these folks, they just have helped me save a LOT of money.

I cut coupons as well. I have found a website www.save.ca that has a bunch of coupons anything from dog food to diapers and you pick the ones you want and they send them to you in the mail. It is a canadian based website, but I'm sure there would be one in the states as well.

I know for Christmas there are lots of sales right now but this weekend aeropostale has a additonal 30% off everything in the store, I got like 10 sweater/shirts for less than 100.. and free shipping or you can use it instore.. Just a way to say money for christmas :)
